Oh my a decision needs to be made.
So here I am playing round 1 of the Kinetic event to warm up. I see talk long ago about uncapping frame rates for better tempo. I couldn't stand it. Obsessing over fps. And I'm spraying shots all over the place. I back out and go look at my golfer. I have retained all fittings when I transferred my old profile over but they weren't applied. 6 over by time I realize this. Apply them but they don't get used until the round is over.
So here I am just started round two. Fittings are on. But I'm all over the place with tempo.
So the quandary. I assume my swing calibration has been reset to default. I know everyone wishes they never calibrated. I feel like I need to.
Going to play this round 2 and see if I adjust.
Spending too much time fiddling with the graphic settings seeing how far I can push it. Ultra everything, DLSS at performance and scaling at 200% and the pc not breaking a sweat lol. So used to having everything set as low as possible.
To calibrate or not is the question of the day. Do I toss away a factory setting or live with it.

Rumble.
Art Vandelay I'm allowed to say this. Left some out there (in rounds 3 and 4.) Game feels like a totally different beast. Need to get used to it. That said, even with the Vaseline rounds I still had my best 4 round total in quite some time. Just hope to make the cut. Once I get used to the somewhat new feel, quit thinking too much and just played I may actually have a decent tournament some day. Or I'll die of old age. Now it's time to race. Or fly. I don't know yet

I hate moving home internet was switched off Friday supposed to be connected today Monday hmm yeah right. The guy turns up and finds thereās no line out so he goes to the box at the end of the street, then disappears for ten minutes comes back and tells us. āThe line is disconnected further down the street but someone has built a fence over the hole where itās disconnectedā š¤¬ heās going to report it to his supervisor hopefully we might get it connected on Thursday or Friday. Letting Art know just might not get my games in this week letās see how things go.

Perhaps I should have mentioned this beforeā¦.. |

Art VandelayHola Arturo. First two rounds of the week was two rounds of tempo issues with a lot of slows and a lot of fasts. Putting was occasionaly a disaster and occasionaly it was excellent. It resulted in a first round with a good front nine and a bad back nine - second round the opposite with a terrible front nine and a great back nine. What really saved me were some good eagles and some nice chip ins. All things considered I am pleased with scores and not so much with how I played. Round 1 score: -10 Round 2 score: -10 Onwards . . . .

I have 500 gb on my phone, so data never an issue. |

Couldn't find anything PGA specific but generally games will use between 3-300 MB an hour. One player type games seem to be in the 15-40 MB an hour. More players obviously means more data but even things like Fortnite only use 100. So I'd guess PGA would be at the low end... but it's just a guess!! |

Gorilla Scientist @ Gorilla GardenArt Vandelay Spent the past few days downloading on and off between slow speeds and the government's enforced oppressive rotational electricity sharing scheme the soon to be obsolete MS Flightsim #whatever. And popped out a couple of coins to buy a few local airports. Read up on the interwebs on how to fly 101 - stick back and people's faces become blurry, stick forward and those same faces renders in full uhd - Now i'm too scared to play the damn thing incase i break it. Loaded the much safer yet oh so boring golf game instead for some low-level action. Pretty samey samey all 4 rounds. No bogeys, missed all putts on the low side and every round stopped after 18 holes.
