I will be officially playing my rumble rounds on a new box. Just got it today. Goodby 4790k and gtx 980. You served me well over the last 10 years. But you became obsolete and were unable to play the new games. Off to the glue factory you go. Once I get golf installed. After I tweak this windows 11 edge browser thing. Can't stand the black borders. Auto correct etc. Controller hooked up, seems to be working. Headset dongle seems to be working. Now it's the next day or two downloading steam and games.  Man this thing is quiet. |

Wow 😲. Very impressive 👏. What just blew me away is I just installed Steam. Then clicked to download PGA2K23. Any time I've had to update the game it would take 45 minutes at 4 megs a second. I just downloaded and install the golf in 5 minutes at 350+ megs a second. WTF? Forza and msfs is going to be a breeze at this rate. No clue why the super fast download. Maybe cause I'm on wifi 6 or something. I don't f'n know. I'll take it though. edit Steam downloading Forza  |

Well that half sucks
I saved my pga23 profile folder in a cloud. Just opened the golf. Started me out on the tutorials. Backed out. I have all my vc, profile level, skills and fittings. But it's making me going to the semi tutorials of showing me everything and my dude s the default avatar. Going to have to remake myself.
Good thing is I dont have to grind for fitting and skills.
Seem to have more graphic options available as well. Cranked it all up to as high as it all goes. Haven't bothered with a round yet, finishing up on downloading Forza, then going to get it rolling on MSFS then have to go do real life.

Does anyone know where to find this part of ones computer in Windows I'm going to lose my sh%$ and have an aneurism version 11? stolen from internet  I hooked up an old usb flash drive to the new pc and saw my mouse was all of a sudden all jittery. I somehow found that screen ONCE and it showed a "driver error" next to the pc icon. I've removed the offending usb drive (mouse back to normal) and am trying to get back to that screen that shows the connected hardware and I cant find the god damn thing. |
