I am not sure wether I am plaesed or disappointed with round 2 of The Americas. I played some of the best golf in a long time and had only 2 approach shots more than 15 feet away - so that was veru pleasing. All those short to medium sloping put were good puts with good pace but just lack the little bit of precision so had 8 puts taking the edge (twice on the 4th hole) and 2 puts just inches away - so that was frustrating. The end score of -9 was not bad but a -13 or better would have been nice considering.

I followed this round with OFTR - Apart from first couple of holes I played well again - just with as many puts taking the edge as previous round. Still, my game and my putting seems to have improved.

S11, W4: Americas @ Acoustic Runt

There's not much I can say about this, except that it was a struggle. My irons let me down in R1, as they are wont to do, and my putter didn't want my irons to have all that grim glory, particularly on #16.

I felt like I played just as inadequately in R2, but somehow I came away with -12, which is a lot better than it felt like. And I'll happily take that.
