People need to get a grip what’s dog plop for one is a good round for someone else, I suppose it’s all a matter of perspective that OFTR was not an easy course

Debacle?!?!? Dogplop?!?!?!? Gentlemen, please look at MY glorious OFTR. THAT effort would set every dumpster in the world on FIYA! Also see TBC customer service manager Tim's OFTR, also surpasses all efforts in suckage. Onward!! I didn’t think it was that difficult a course. But it tempted you into doing daft things. That was its real teeth. |

It made you think a bit about your tee shots rather than just pulling the driver out on every hole, a good course in my opinion all mistakes were down to me.

Pub Crawl - week 3 finale + OFTR54% from long this week. Probably the only reason I had this type of scoring at all. Too bad about a barely missed -50, if I wasn't +1 after 3 holes in R3 that could have been it. OFTR was garbage. For me at least. Maybe it's not for some but to me that is unacceptable... tempo felt suspiciously off and was hitting way more bad shots than normal, no idea why. I have my guesses on it but with no way of knowing I won't say much more on it.    Art Vandelay

Pub Crawl R4 & OFTR. Apologies for the lateness. I actually played these on Thursday and then forgot I hadn't posted them. These are the voyages of the Starship Forgetfulness. I was right in the double promo zone at -33 after R3, just needing to get maybe -9 on my final round in order to guarantee some kind of tangible reward. So, that didn't happen. Agonising putt miss after agonising putt miss kept me in the margins, and I ended up with a solidly mediocre -7 to finish on -40. As I type these words I'm at the very cliff edge of the promo zone in CC-C, with my arms flailing and my heels over the edge. Pray for me, Brewies!  
As is my way, I was feeling a bit grumpy about possibly throwing away a great promo opportunity, but I launched straight into my OFTR round directly afterwards anyway, despite the bad augurs. I have a mental block about OFTR, and frequently seem to play it really poorly, so my suspicions and doom scenario predictions looked to be coming true when I screwed up the first par 5 and turned a birdie opportunity into a bogey. I vented a few choice words of old Anglo-Saxon into the air and started swinging like I just didn't care...which is of course why I then birdied 9 of the remaining 14 holes to finish on -9. That might be 19 points if I have done the math correctly, possibly my best points haul yet. Which is just as well, because I barely brought any other points to M2S this week. Nice course, btw. CC total and round 4.
This the nearest I've been to -50 for quite a while. While it used to be the benchmark of an okay/fairly decent tournament, it now seems to be something I have to try my hardest to achieve. I should have got -50; but I'll take this, given that I'm still struggling, especially with my putting.
