RUMble to the Bar XI is done and dusted, let's check the results from the ground up. Division Four - Art Vandelay could not keep pace as the hard charging Dr. Scott Blade used his table topping dash to nab a promo to Division 3 with Doe Doe Coba . Dr. Mark with and L IGolfBad was left clutching the Wooden Spoon, something he is sure to use to make a strange concoction down on the pharm. Division Three - Michael "Don't call me Bono, I hate that douche of a singer" Bonocore used a strong Dash as well to leap past CF and Paul M to snag a promo with Trevor trevormendez to Division Two. Left holding the bag were Chuck Violinguy69 and Ken jg24kl as they make their way down to the bottom feeders, surely they will thrive with that motley segment of our society. Division Two - Chris Bear woke from his slumber and dashed his way back to the top tier along with Dave dave69 . Poor dash efforts sealed the fate for Dr. Bing mbuenger and Tim TimB as they drop down to Division Three. Division One - There is a new sheriff in TBC as Ross asyoudo64 toppled Charlie deathstar to become Top RUMbler. Ben SkyBlueBen and Sean prowse00 hopefully filled their golf bags with Division One trinkets as their stay on the top shelf was short lived, both head back to Division Two as quickly as they arrived with hopes of a speedy return. Thanks all for playing, RUMble to the Bar XII will follow soon. Onward!

Art Vandelay An extension has been requested and granted for one Art Vandelay because vacationing is hard and he will be late returning to the factory from his beach villa. If he is unable to make the TGCT cut deadline he will include a recap screenie as if he was Posh (the only way he will EVER act Posh). Onward. SkyBlueBen inflames47 Declined 😉😉😉🤣

In golfing news, TGC donation drive is in full force, time will tell if the push will be enough to get us another season. On the game front, 2K seemed to be up to their normal tricks, with a lot of people experiencing server issues. Casuals and the Brewers up first this week. Both teams are looking to bounce back after sub par losses last week ensuring that this was a tie to keep an eye on. Literally nothing could come between them on the first day. Bear and David took a win for the Casuals while Paul and Carol matched the effort to take points for the Brewers. Both were very close matches resulting in there only being a 4 shot difference in total between the two teams. The close contest continued throughout the 1st match of the second day. In a high scoring affair, -23 strokes a piece, shared the honours. The breakthrough however came in favour of the Brewers. Les and Carol took the win to provide the Brewers a slender lead at the halfway point. Leon and Carol came out with a strong round on day 3 to keep the Brewers ahead but the pressure was maintained by the Casuals with David And CF taking control of the final doubles matchup this week against Les and Paul. With only 2 points between the two teams, heading into the final day, matchplay would be the decider. Off the bat Leon struck early to take down Bear. Advantage was very much with the Brewers. Momentum swung at this point, with one eye on the finish line, Brewers could taste victory. A sneaky last hole win from Les was enough to take them over the line to seal a victory from a fascinating tie. Raiders taking on the As You Brew gang this week was sure to be an entertaining affair. Raiders still have an eye on As You Brew at the top of the table but knew they would have to be on top of their game to overthrow the dominant performances being shown by As You Brew so far this season. Well, the Raiders showed up, tried and quietly retreated. An almost clean sweep for As You Brew. Hobgobins took on the Bandits in our next match this week. Special thank you to Marcus who made his TBC debut subbing for David H. Wasn’t the best of debuts to begin with the Hobgoblins taking both the 1st day ties. Marcus however with his partner Tomi were able to put points on the board for the Bandits with a close 2nd day victory over Nigel and Doe. Charles and Randy however intensified the pressure with a victory over Pen and Mark B, giving them a comfortable lead at the halfway stage. The onslaught continued throughout day 3, Charles and Doe adding to the points total for the Hobgoblins. A clean sweep was however prevented with the matchup between Nigel/Randy and Tomi/Mark B ending in a fair draw as both pairs gave everything on day 3. Going into the final day, the Bandits knew mathematically they could not win however they could spoil the Hobgoblin party to draw proceedings if they could pull out a perfect final day. As results came in one by one, the impossible was nearly completed. Wins for Tomi, Mark and Marcus for the Bandits resulted in Charles needing and taking the win over Pen to take the W home with the Hobgoblins. Royals and the Stunts to finish the proceedings this week. Stunts came out strong with two impressive wins on the opening day. Hard battling in day 2 however swung the pendulum back in the favour of the Royals. Tim and Ken took apart Trevor and Scott but the defining moment was the one shot win for Jason and Thomas over Sean and Michael. Day 3 was about the Royals with them taking both matches but again only a one shot was the difference with again Thomas involved. Stunts needed a strong final day but with 2 matchplay wins a piece, the Royals did just enough to take the win. Art is a master of the digital age and can multi-task and will be inputting scores while sipping a pina colada inbetween chasing Mrs V across the sands.

Another great course in Elite this week 👌 Sshhhh. No one wants to hear that!! But I agree. Thought it was brilliantly done. Love how the port theme is built into the course. Impressed by the way some designers take the effort to make something different and therefore sparks interest. I will no doubt play Rounds 3 and 4 whether I make the cut or not. More on themes later....

Pub CrawlArt VandelayWell bugger me sideways with a rusty coat hanger, I absolutely love this course (yep, it's not all moans and groans). Love a bit of water adding to the challenge and reckon, for me, CC has got things absolutely spot on this week. Played all 4, could've played more. Onto business. A solid outing, unspectacular 3rd round ruining things, but managed to stay out of trouble for the most part, only having to strip down to the speedo's on one occasion. Gave the ladies a treat at least... Hopefully us Raider boys can recover from their sound thrashing last week. Still flying the flag proudly...

Pub CrawlArt Vandelay SkyBlueBen Enjoyed the course. My play was a bit frustrating though. My putting has gone down another notch or two or three. I tried hitting my approaches outside of 75 feet, but i can't hit a rugby pitch if i stood on top of the main grandstand. Not that it would help anyway since i can't chip either. Case in point, warmed up for the day's activities by playing 18 holes on the K tour, made a 20 yard chip in for eagle, dropped an eye watering 35 footer for bird and made a tough 17 footer to save par during that round. Simply saying i had a fair bit of luck going my way but could only sign for a 4 under score. The horror. Sufficiently warmed up i hit the track for the main event, promptly hit my app on the 1st hole for a 3 feet eagle tap-in, went for the green on the 2nd, missing the pin by 6 inches and lipped out my eagle putt from 17 feet out, almost opening with back-to-back big birds. Happy days. And then 3 putted from 30 feet on the 3rd. Or maybe it was the 4th. Normal service resumed. 40 under, these days i'll take it if was offered up front, so i suppose i should be happy.
