Hello BC Members,
Welcome to another drama filled week of pixel golf in the Brew Crew Clique Club.
Week 5 of the Pub Crawl season takes us to Real Club Torrox Costa , a fictional Delta theme course with a par of 72 which was created by Christian Elsesser.
Course Description:
Welcome to Spain! Real Club Torrox Costa is my official entry into this yearโs CC Design Contest. This Par 72, 7.144 yards championship course is set along the Costa del Sol in Southern Spain and is inspired by Spanish top courses such as Real Club Valderrama Golf Club and PGA Catalunya. While the landing zones off the tee are pretty generous the main defense of the course is plenty of strategically placed water hazards as well as elevation changes. Enjoy!

Week 5 โ One for the Road
Week 5 of the season is the Modified Stableford format which takes us to Deadwood Gulch, a fictional Steppe theme course with a par of 72 which was created by Scott Marrs.
Course Description:
Carved out of the rugged, arid old west is Deadwood Gulch, a golf course surrounding its namesake town. The course follows steppe landscape through valleys, hills, and escarpments with significant elevation changes. Many holes have multiple landing zones, sometimes rewarding the golfer that chooses to club down from a driver. The four tees (Black, 7,005'; Blue, 6,831'; White 6,648'; Red 6,472') create different play opportunities and challenges. Greens are complex, rewarding near hole approach shots without sloping that is excessive. Scenery is from the US old West; with a few surprises a sharp-eyed golfer might see. Enjoy!

Augusta National
Architects: Alister MacKenzie and Bobby Jones
Augusta National Golf Club, sometimes referred to as Augusta National, Augusta, or the National, is a golf club in Augusta, Georgia, United States. Unlike most private clubs which operate as non-profits, Augusta National is a for-profit corporation, and it does not disclose its income, holdings, membership list, or ticket sales.
Founded by Bobby Jones and Clifford Roberts, the course was designed by Jones and Alister MacKenzie and opened for play in 1932. Since 1934, the club has played host to the annual Masters Tournament, one of the four men's major championships in professional golf, and the only major played each year at the same course. It was the top-ranked course in Golf Digest's 2009 list of America's 100 greatest courses and was the number ten-ranked course based on course architecture on Golfweek Magazine's 2011 list of best classic courses in the United States.
In 2019, the course began co-hosting the Augusta National Women's Amateur with Champions Retreat Golf Club.
Good fortune to all teams.
