At least you’ve answered us which I appreciate we just got crickets of everyone else I do have a course that was classed as tour worthy so i know it’s possible. Thank you for your reply your comments are noted. No worries, always happy to. To be honest, I think most people don't look in here - 2570 pages is a little daunting! I wouldn't have done had someone else not mentioned the concerns to me. Just keep at it and there's always people who will want to help Fair play in reading back 2570 pages

Pub crawl final
Fairly happy with my final round, even though I was pissed after the damned boguey on 10, which is the easiest hole on the course ...

I'd recommend Maxwell Plantation on maxed settings next if you need something with a little higher pace.

Hi, TGCT admins/schedulers! Sorry to be the wet blanket, but might we kindly take the course approval discussion off line? Our thread is already congested enough as it is 🙃 We really do appreciate your transparency, but we need to get back to our own special brand of idiocy. Thanks for all you do! Couldn’t do it without you!

Knowing a few of you - inflames47 has kindly used some of my courses before now and Violinguy69 and I have talked about this before, I’d hope this comes across in the right way. Grumbling about CC course selection? Fine. I’d argue you’re wrong, but it’s a thankless task to schedule for complete beginners all through to CC-A. Grumbling about your/other courses not getting Tour Worthy? Also fine - but do remember it’s a really helpful design community who will always help (as we have all learned as we go). Grumbling that certain designers don’t get Tour Worthy or put on tour because they aren’t in a clique? Couldn’t be further off-base. Frankly, if a newer designer hits the TW mark, their course gets scheduled instantly - schedulers want that variety. When we review, we don’t see a username, we see a real name, so don’t know whose course it is. We don’t care who you are, we play the course that’s in front of us and really just try to clear the queue. But we won’t compromise on the quality of courses required - there’s a bar that has to be hit and it’s honestly not that tough with effort in the right areas - I’ve had this conversation with several designers over the last few years. If getting on tour is what you want and you’re constantly hitting Approved, it’s not about WHO you are, it’s about what you’re putting out. There’s a video stickied about getting Tour Worthy - watch that. Ask for feedback, watch tutorials (it’s not patronising, we all did it) and work at it. If you do want to keep ticking over and just publishing the same stuff, that’s fine as well; just don’t expect the results to change. I have been on the fence about posting in here for a while and I’m aware that there will be people who roll their eyes and still say it’s a clique thing. Frankly, that’s the easy answer rather than looking at courses critically and understanding why they aren’t at that level. Hopefully, this explains those things. None of us will love every course scheduled, but they do all have to hit that level. Thank you for taking the time to visit our thread. And therein lies the problem. The set up of CC with one course covering 12 divisions of ability, for me, doesn’t work. I’d like to see it split and schedulers given the opportunity to slip in tougher courses for higher levels on CC. I have no issue with the quality of courses.

Maybe a good place to repost an idea I had a few pages back so it gets reported back. Not posting to center your post out Ben, just seems like a good place for me to jump in. Another quote of mine from another post on that page for posterity sake to be reported back. I'm going to avoid bashing the scheduler as as much as I can. It's a tough job I get that. And certainly try not to bash a course directly, never have. And I've refrained from commenting on this weeks course here as well.

Yep, saw those posts earlier. I don’t disagree and I doubt Q would either. I believe there’s logistical issues (I suspect having the time for Tim to recode the site) which limit that, as you’re right, it’d be a neat solution.
Kinda a ‘damned if you do, damned if you don’t’ situation with CC. I was on Kinetic, then CC-A for a season and definitely saw the good and bad with both.
Also worth mentioning that the current HB team is different to the ones from the TGC1 days and with the game growing, TGCTours doesn’t have quite the same link it used to. A few of us are in a Discord server with 2K and HB reps as part of the Nextmakers programme, but honestly, that isn’t really a communication tool either. (If it was, we’d have a lot more improvements and fewer crashes…)

Most of the time it’s down to playing the depressing courses. Dashed the 4 Kinetic rounds off last night, didn’t score great but fair enjoyed myself. The course didn't depress me,my game play did. Been so busy around our place stripping wallpaper and painting that doing my rounds was just another chore which I failed at 😂 Dear God inflames47 , no wonder! Most of the time stripping wallpaper leads to break-ups, gnashing of teeth, general world disorder!
