mbuenger That sounds great if this was the Bloody Mary Knockout but I think this is the Long Island Knockout. And I want to thank you for not mentioning my 4-putt on hole 7 which was a par 5. Eagle Putt to Making Bogey. Only something I can do! Hah I thought they all started this week. That was why I played with your ghost. Reading comprehension was never my strong suit 😂 I'll pop your scores in for the Long Island now against Leon.

Congrats. You got me with those 17 (over dramatizing things for effect lol) birdies on the last 9 then and eagle to stick the knife in. lol This works for me, now I'm knocked out I can use the knockout event as my Sunday warmup before the CC grind begins.

Knowing a few of you - inflames47 has kindly used some of my courses before now and Violinguy69 and I have talked about this before, I’d hope this comes across in the right way. Grumbling about CC course selection? Fine. I’d argue you’re wrong, but it’s a thankless task to schedule for complete beginners all through to CC-A. Grumbling about your/other courses not getting Tour Worthy? Also fine - but do remember it’s a really helpful design community who will always help (as we have all learned as we go). Grumbling that certain designers don’t get Tour Worthy or put on tour because they aren’t in a clique? Couldn’t be further off-base. Frankly, if a newer designer hits the TW mark, their course gets scheduled instantly - schedulers want that variety. When we review, we don’t see a username, we see a real name, so don’t know whose course it is. We don’t care who you are, we play the course that’s in front of us and really just try to clear the queue. But we won’t compromise on the quality of courses required - there’s a bar that has to be hit and it’s honestly not that tough with effort in the right areas - I’ve had this conversation with several designers over the last few years. If getting on tour is what you want and you’re constantly hitting Approved, it’s not about WHO you are, it’s about what you’re putting out. There’s a video stickied about getting Tour Worthy - watch that. Ask for feedback, watch tutorials (it’s not patronising, we all did it) and work at it. If you do want to keep ticking over and just publishing the same stuff, that’s fine as well; just don’t expect the results to change. I have been on the fence about posting in here for a while and I’m aware that there will be people who roll their eyes and still say it’s a clique thing. Frankly, that’s the easy answer rather than looking at courses critically and understanding why they aren’t at that level. Hopefully, this explains those things. None of us will love every course scheduled, but they do all have to hit that level.

I wouldn't have done had someone else not mentioned the concerns to me. Just keep at it and there's always people who will want to help

You'll be back Carol 🔥 Most of the time it’s down to playing the depressing courses. Dashed the 4 Kinetic rounds off last night, didn’t score great but fair enjoyed myself. The course didn't depress me,my game play did. Been so busy around our place stripping wallpaper and painting that doing my rounds was just another chore which I failed at 😂
