Designer Now that was a super fun course to play as each hole was interesting. I wish the CC courses had more of this type of layout. I also left a bunch of putts on the table in round 2. I often find the society courses a pleasure to play, the variety that the boys pick for us have worked well this season and I thank them. TimB asyoudo64 |

Well played sir 👏 👏 I noticed you played True Sim this week and shot a really damn good score for your first week back from a long hiatus! I only played true sim to prove to someone I could play it, the guy was saying one of my courses was to hard for true sim (that’s the point isn’t it to not score in double digits) so I played it and shot -5 under true sim conditions. He didn’t believe my score so I played the true sim tournament and sent him a screenshot. I hate these people that give me a superior attitude, I’ve also blocked him on FB and his mate that said I should be playing tiddlywinks because I said I didn’t want to play true sim. |

I only played true sim to prove to someone I could play it, the guy was saying one of my courses was to hard for true sim (that’s the point isn’t it to not score in double digits) so I played it and shot -5 under true sim conditions. At the end of the day we each bought the game we play it how we want to play not how others want us to play. That’s my final word on it. What Les saying it's his final word? Never he has to keep his commenting going no matter the subject he just has to remember they are all wallys and deserve to know better from the master moaner. Mind you if TST did use Les' courses I might take a longer break from it rather than just miss the RCR courses from the PGA Tour that they use that I find boring to play. |

I might play the odd one if it’s a course I like, the way I have to play the game at the minute by pulling back the aim marker isn’t conducive to TST settings as I can’t see how far I’m pulling the marker back. I’ve literally played true sim since at least the 2019 game and I love the idea of it but the reality of playing that way doesn’t meet my expectations. One thing I have against it is you can’t see slopes on the green so you have no idea if your going to land the ball on a downslope or upslope, ideally in TST as in real golf you want to leave yourself and uphill putt. There’s just not enough information on the overhead hole map, the putting part doesn’t bother me I’m a decent putter on TST like I was in real golf. I basically got called a 🐈⬛ and told to man up because of my views on TST and I just couldn’t let that go without showing them I could play it and score ok if I wanted. I basically speed golfed round the TGC Tours TST course. |

Helps that I'm not suffering the game breaking issues of others. I find these rounds relaxing as there's no pressure, go out, opportunity to play shots I may not normally go for in CC, and enjoyable courses/conditions. |
