evilgrin72 Johnny I’m so proud of you for hanging in there on the 21 game you were pretty good but your having trouble on this one but still keep going. I will be honest if I hadn’t got the Razer Wolverine I would have given up. Johnny is still only on level 31 so he's very disadvantaged compared to the rest of us with regard to fittings and skills. Think he's doing pretty well considering. Shame he can't invest the same time in the game as the rest of us but his circumstances don't allow. I'm just pleased to have him on my team while he grinds the game and desperately hope he sticks with it, even if it's only for the chance to see Big Bertha back on the course!! Ben I don’t see the skills or fittings as that much of an advantage, I’ve no argument that they don’t improve your game a bit. I played on my PC last night I’ve got 5 skills set and two fittings applied the rest are all bog standard. Played 5 matches online last night and won 4 of them. Im not saying they don’t help to some extent but I see the fittings and skills being HB’s way of levelling the playing field a little. Like you I was playing on an unfamiliar platform when you play Xbox. |

Stick at it Johnny. Some are good on a regular basis and some are not. Bad rounds can do your head in but sinking a bird , or now and again an eagle is a nice feeling to us mere mortals. evilgrin72 |

They do help certainly but on Xbox not as much as using a wired controller, on Xbox my fittings give me 100%+ on both timing and swing plane on Woods. Irons and wedges tempo was still awful for me with the wireless Elite 2 controller and that’s improved with the Razer. Is Johnny on PS5 or PS4 I know a few others that struggle on PS. |

Art Vandelay Round 4 Another good round, hopefully good enough. I'm excited that barring anything crazy on CC-G, I'll have another top-5, plus I played pretty well (except for the 4th round - that wind!) in the promotion tourney. Like you I was playing on an unfamiliar platform when you play Xbox. This game certainly doesn’t have some sort of meta with regards to fittings and archetypes. The good thing with archetypes is it balances things out and you just customize your bag the way you want as you figure out the strengths and weaknesses of what you like in your bag. I just live and die with the powerhouse archetype and try to balance things out. On some courses my approach shots are a lot of wedges and I’m finally dialing in with them. My longer irons are unpredictable at times but I’ll live with it. Streamers have said to load up your putting skills to the max. Who really knows. I am certainly not one to get advice from as my game is currently in shambles, lol. But I do like the game overall better now than in the beginning as I understand more of it. |

They have promotion tournaments every few months but where are the demotion tournaments? I feel I belong in that group right now, lol
All I keep hearing from John on a lot of my approach shots is, Oh that’s too bad. And, that was never going to be good, Or he whispers, you just missed with regards to my putt, lol. Or, that’s going right by, lol…I feel like a broken record with him and his comments..John gives me loads of confidence. 😒😒😒
