Yes, my thumb slipped off on my backswing,lol If I had more time during the week I’d probably start grinding on my laptop and get the Wolverine. I just don’t have the time so I’ll stay with the PS5. But if I leave town longer than a week then I’ll use the laptop to play my rounds. So maybe I’ll just fire it up anywayand grind away and see how far I can get by mid March as that is the next time I leave town. And then EA will be here and my game time will be split with the 2 games, lol What sucked about my round 2 today was I had my Iron fittings finally all set with 100 Swing path and 96 with Timing. I was feeling confident going in my round and then I got hit in the gut when the wheels came off. My last 2 or 3 holes I was speed golfing just trying to get finish up. I've been grinding on my XB for quite a while now. Takes time. Up to Level 49 but only got pretty basic fittings on atm. Saving up to have one good go at them! Hopefully you get your game back soon Zooby. I know only too well how frustrating it can be after my struggles for most of Season 1. The Wolverine saved me. Such a quality controller compared to the Series X. I had adjusted my fittings and I was actually feeling very good after Round 1 of (-9) as I left a few putts out there. And I was doing fairly well in some other societies as well. For some reason yesterday my drive tempo was lost and usually when that goes everything else goes with it. Then I’m playing catch up on trying to make the cut and then it becomes going for broke on every hole. I then hit water towards the middle of the back and just basically threw in the towel. My 7 bogeys were a(+11) I think it was one of those crummy days and I probably should have just put the controller down at the turn and took a long break. But I’m too stubborn and wanted to try to save the round, lol |

xxdannyxxo I may have improved but preferred 2K21. I’m not much of a fan of all this skills/fittings shite. Looking forward to the EA game. In the meantime I’ve bought Uncharted 🙂 I like some of the customizations with fittings but not the balls or the skill points. I like the TGC Tours and the societies so that brings me back. I’ll no doubt be playing both games. |

xxdannyxxo This is the worst week I have had in this game in 3 months now. Yeah, I want to cry and quit but it's not really the game that I enjoy as much as the community. Between this Brew Crew, Forums, Twitch and Discord it just keeps the game alive. We are all pulling our hair out at times from this game and it's fun that we all understand this "pain" together. I hope you enjoy EA more but playing with EA gets boring for me after awhile messing with quitters and cheaters. You need a somewhat regulated community like this to keep it going. You need this community and board to listen and hear your gripes and nod in approval. You're not getting that with EA. But you got to do you and what you enjoy. I play with the X-Box Elite Series 2 and no way in H E Double Hockey Sticks is the wolverine better than this controller.  The stick tension controller tool and option is the Bee's Knees! Wolverine ain't got that! Good Luck and Try to Have Fun and I'm waiting in the wings to take your spot when you need a break from the Crew! I’ve played with an Elite and Elite v2 controller and with both of them being wireless I got the same poor tempo as the original series x controller, since moving to the Wolverine I get none of those all my misses are in the grey area no more very fast or very slow swings. Whilst the Elite series of controllers are great for general games on Xbox they’re not good for this game and it’s flaky tempo. Edit: you get the same quitters and cheaters in this game as well. Valid Counter-Argument here but I'm talking about quitters and cheaters all day long while you are trying to play multiplayer and they quit when your up by 2 with 3 to play. You don't get that problem here or if you do they get timed out or called out. I get what you're saying though, no system is perfect. I would never play wireless and I believe that is your problem. Wired in is the way to go and the stick tension is AWESOME but I still suck as the game is very touchy on PC and I find it difficult but a good difficult. Anyways, we're both grumpy old men so GET OFF MY LAWN! And the real point was this game is dead without the TGC and Brew Crew Societies. Ranked Matchmaking could make a difference but that's a different experience all together. |

I’m no techie but apparently the Wolverine has a faster connection speed than the XB controllers. I no longer get random silly shots, if it’s a bad shot it’s all down to my input. I could buy it and if it isn't as good I just take it back and get a refund but I've looked into it and I know the stick is loosey goosey. I just love the tension control on the Elite 2 but I'm only 3 months in. Talk to me in another 3 months. |

I’m having a hard time loading it up. I may not finish if I can’t get it loaded in time. I love the course though. I’m not sure what the deadline is for this particular tourney? Were you able to finish zooby97 as I have one invisible player, my choices of invisibles are gordy , cfgib or you it's always you 3 that show up invisible, not all the time tho, its very strange. Were you able to finish zooby97 as I have one invisible player, my choices of invisibles are gordy , cfgib or you it's always you 3 that show up invisible, not all the time tho, its very strange. Carol, I was not able to finish. I tried numerous times but gave up. It would just not load up. Yesterday was a schitt day with the game in every aspect of it. I think I completed 2 rounds. And yes, I’ll try to find a ghost to play my rounds with but at times I have blanks for their names, very annoying.. Today is a new day, lol So I have the Invisible man who shot -8 on Taconic , it's either gordyberry or CGib2 those are the only other players who show up in a members list as invisible, not sure if its a time zone thing or just a fubar error in ps4 because of privacy settings I have requested all to add me as friend but I cannot due to privacy settings. It's best for all who play to post your scores on ps5 so I do not have to chase down a ghost. Currently listed as The Invisible Man on my spread sheet until someone owns up to the score. |

I’m no techie but apparently the Wolverine has a faster connection speed than the XB controllers. I no longer get random silly shots, if it’s a bad shot it’s all down to my input. I could buy it and if it isn't as good I just take it back and get a refund but I've looked into it and I know the stick is loosey goosey. Oh cool we got a new Ale event. Hopefully DS as well. Supposed to be getting 1500 cm (may have added a 0 or two) of snow starting soon so another day of Canadian Hibernation is in order. Golf it is then.
Will set up Soylent Greens in a bit too.

I use the Wolverine V2 David Herron portred has the Ultimate I don’t really think there’s much difference on a gameplay standpoint. I still use my Elite V2 for other games just not this game I will try it on EA’s new game to see what it’s like. |
