CC Rounds 1 and 2.
Spent the whole afternoon warming up for these rounds but only really succeeded in dislocating my shoulder. I literally cannot push my mouse forward fast enough to not hit a slow.
Anyway, teed it up, saw the first hole and decided I wasn't going to bother. Anyone else peg it up on a CC course you've never played before but it feels like you've played it 5 million times already?
Well, that was the feeling for me. That, coupled with the tempo sh1tshow, meant there was only one way forward: speed golf, not giving one shiny sh1t where the ball went. I think I got these two rounds done in half an hour. Tempo was God-awful in both, and the less said about the putting the better. I literally phucking hate this game at the moment.
Scores on the doors:
And you guys think Palo is the grump. Hold my phucking beer.
I was absolutely over the moon at being 21 under at the cut and you’ve gone 22 under without trying. Now I’m fcuking miserable. Thanks a lot Chris 🤣🤣

Chris if your getting 95% slows go on the range and pull the aim marker fully back as an experiment.

Man, I am not gonna lie CGib2. I was pretty worried about taking you on in round 4. After that leadoff -9 I thought for sure I would be limping out of week one with the L. Nice to know I will have a fighting chance. Now don't get me wrong, I can easily shoot +6 on any given day, so honestly, you still have a pretty decent shot, but I guess if you are going to have an off-round, I am pretty happy it comes against this rook. P.S. Let me know the address to mail your bribe too. How much was it again?

Thanks a lot Chris 🤣🤣 Between this and horusphoenix contemplating switching up to the Wolverine to improve on his -53, these fellas really know how to rub salt in the wounds of us pixel hackers. Live look at me just giving up and going out with a bang.

I love online matchplay but sometimes I don't connect well with players across the pond or even 2000 miles away here in the states. Some of the worst internet exists here in Las Vegas. I've been thinking about getting Starlink but Elon seems busy and you have to install it all yourself. My good friend, his wife and myself took a little tour out to Rachel, Nevada to see Area 51. We stayed there overnight at Little A’Le’Inn….The internet service was better than where I live in Tampa Bay, lol, now granted there is like 25 people who live out there but that little one horse town is in the middle of nowhere. The night we stayed there was a huge wind storm and my trailer I was staying in was shaking so bad I thought I was going to blow away but my laptop kept on working just fine, lol I don't really feel like moving out there but I guess I would do just about anything for Fiber. No Fiber Choice in my area and I doubt they will have it in the next 20 years. It doesn't take much to do a quick internet search and find out that you have two choices in Vegas. Cox Cable or Century Link. Both are nightmare companies to deal with and both have horrid internet. Cox is probably better but 7 guys in 3 weeks couldn't figure out how to connect my house to the street. I've had Century Link for almost 20 years. The best they offer is 10MB and I think at best I pull 8. I get 900 to 1000kb per second iirc when I download a game. It takes me 3 hours to download an update for PGA 2k23. Starlink is now available in my area and it will cost me 700 dollars to take the jump but from my understanding they have a ton of problems as well.

Born 75 so but I remember 1980 like it was yesterday. Totally miss the 80's... best era in my opinion. 90's not bad but nothing like being a kid in the 80's with Pong, Atari, Colecovision (if you were rich) and of course arcades. Not to mention how great the TV Programming was on my 13 inch Black and White TV. Radio... Dr. Demento... Fuggedaboutit! Oh, and let's not forget about how great movies were in the 80's! Got to keep editing this post because I forgot to mention how great the WWF was at the time and later with the WCW and Rick Flair and the 4Horseman For Life! Woooo! Pong was released in the very early 70’s and I’ve been playing video games since then Thanks for the reply and history lesson. I'm lying anyway as I was born in 2005 and just looked up all that information on google.

I'll probably buy it but how long can we actually play and enjoy it? I mean TGC isn't going to change their whole format to run an EA PGA TGC TOUR are they? I doubt it since EA most likely will not have societies and TGC relies on society play along with api check. EA ain't doing that not to mention EA isn't going to have a course designer, right? The only thing that could save the game is if you guys run some sort of leaderboard for EA on this forum or some other third party site. I burn money all the time so I will buy it but I doubt I can schedule many rounds with EA PGA since TGC and the 2K23 version is so demanding. The EA game will most likely have country clubs like before, you joined them to play online games against others if I remember the old TW games correctly Yeah... F IT... TGC will make the move and we will all buy EA and throw PGA2k23 in the trash!

Unfortunately he still is in the 20's! 😁 Erm don’t you mean 70’s Pong was released in 1972 Pong is a table tennis–themed twitch arcade sports video game, featuring simple two-dimensional graphics, manufactured by Atari and originally released in 1972. It was one of the earliest arcade video games; it was created by Allan Alcorn as a training exercise assigned to him by Atari co-founder Nolan Bushnell, but Bushnell and Atari co-founder Ted Dabney were surprised by the quality of Alcorn's work and decided to manufacture the game. Bushnell based the game's concept on an electronic ping-pong game included in the Magnavox Odyssey, the first home video game console. Just because it was released in the early 70's doesn't mean that my family didn't introduce it to me when I was 5 years old in 1980

Pong was released in the very early 70’s and I’ve been playing video games since then Yup, my first video game in my room as a kid, lol My first console was Atari with that joystick, lol…my dad said I’d save quarters now by playing my Atari at home, but Asteroids, Space Invaders, PacMan and Galaga were so much better at the arcade so we went back there instead, lol…..And I still have that little console up my attic, lol.. I spent hours playing Firequest, at least I remember it as Firequest. According to the internet it was Fireworld in the Swordquest Series. Whatever. Tough, odd game that I didn't understand but they had some sort of 10,000 dollar give away if you were the first to beat it and I thought I would be the one lol. Once again my memory must be off because the internet says it was something like 150,000 dollar contest in total. Anyways, I'd get bored and play Indiana Jones on the Atari which seemed like a lot of fun at the time. When you finished the game you counted how many pixels were under Indiana as he was raised up. You know what I'm talking about if you played it. Nothing like parachuting into the Well of Souls and digging on the Atari.

Alright, I still don't understand this RUMble to the Tavern thing but it appears that it's some sort of per round match play. Last Post. I swear! 7 in a row is my limit and we all know that 7 is the perfect number. I'll get us to 3000 posts in no time. You're Welcome!

Over 2 weeks you play one match against each opponent. 1 round = 1 match. Best score wins. Final round is the RUMble. 8 points down to 1 awarded. Something easy to fill the gap between seasons.
