A little bit of Cathedral Lodge and Golf Club here Ken?π€π€ I've never heard of it, so not intentionally. However that sort of landscape was definitely my inspiration. One of the longer par 5s...

A quick question for our dear game masters, In the scoring sheet, on the OFTR table, there is 2 columns at the beginning that I have no clue how they are calculated, just after the names. One is labelled Team, and the other one Ind. What is the wizardry behind the numbers ? Have a great golfing day
Each game is worth 2 team points. With the pairs the winners get 1 point each. In the singles the winner gets 2 points. This goes into the team column. In the pairs the winners are awarded 1 bonus point for a win so that the individual player is able to gain 8 points (4 wins gaining 2 points) for a full house of wins. Hope this makes it clear. It makes more sense in my head than reading that back! LOL Sorry Ben - but I do not get any of that to make sense at all and I do not make any sense of what goes into teams and what goes into individual You say the winners of a team match is 1 point plus a bonus point for winning - wouldn't that be the same as each getting 2 points for a win? And what do each player get for a tie in a teams match? And how do you score 3 points in an individual if a win gives you 2 points? I do understand 8 points maks. if a win is worth 2 points per player in teams and 2 points for the individual = 8 points maks. with 6 points being the maks. in teams and 2 in individual but what confuses me is seing 3 points in the individual on the scoreboard

Designers showcase @ Glenfinnan G.C.
Sorry to have always the :
but I still cannot find real pleasure to play. I did not finish the two previous courses, English Rose because my PC lagged and it was unplayable, Shitter Island was a rage quit.
Glenfinnan is a tough course for me and it was not that bad apart 7 times thee-putting. And, as always, the tempo flew out at the twelve, and I finished with a collapse hole. Men, you must among the better mates, so I keep on to stay here...

Each player gets one point for a win making 2 points going towards the team. The bonus point (Ind) for each player only counts towards the individual leaderboard, it doesn't affect the team but as far as the individual competition is concerned each player gets 2 points for a win. 3 points individual = that player was on winning side in all 3 pairs matches. 1 bonus point x 3 = 3.

The max on the first column (team) for 1 person is 5, one point per pair victory, plus 2 point for final matchplay. If a team is winning all their round, the team will get 5*4=20 points. A player in a team can get a max of 8 points = 5 team points + 3 Ind points (the 3 bonus points for pair victory)
Hope I understood correctly and explained it clearly enough Doe Coba

inflames47TBC Designer Showcase @ Doe's Hogwarts Marsh Always nice when Doe gets The Jacobite out for a trip along the viaduct at Glenfinnan. For a change most of my shots were under control this time and playing these fast greens, without ridiculous undulations we see on other courses, was helpful for me to judge those soft hits that you have to do and my scoring proved it, though I probably could have had 3 or 4 more if I could get the putt line perfected even more.

Thanks Ken, will give this a spin. When I lived in Melbourne I remember driving out to an old coal and cow town called Korumburra in South Gippsland. I'll imagine it set down that way when I play.
