I took you as Ghost Mark, I had you by 1stroke on 18, then the silliness happened and I missed like a 1 ft putt! Doh!! -5 for me |

Not bragging of course but it is 30c and sunny here in Perth atm. It's a blistering hot -4c here in Canada right (well my part of Canada, Ontario) with a forecast of "scattered flurries" For those of you who live in paradise, flurries means snow. And it's not even winter yet. 2 months from now it will be -30 with a couple feet of snow on the ground. I hate winter so much. I'm doing my part to speed up global warming. I spray at least 2 cans of hairspray into the air outside every day. Leave my car running in the driveway for hours. I see no change yet. I'll keep trying. Keep on spraying I hate winter! Suggest you get the armpits as well   |

Here’s a little tip to try when you next playing out of a green side bunker. I’ve just played all nine of my courses back to back last night been in about 20 bunkers and not left a ball in the bunker yet so I feel they have relaxed the tempo a little. A little technique I used if your 14 yds away push the marker out half as far again so set it at 21 yds that should work to keep your tempo smooth, if your 20 yds away set it at 30 yds keep an eye on the percentage of the lie and make your backswing a little longer than you would think if it’s quite low. Try and keep your swings as near the same tempo as possible I actually put 5 balls close enough for an easy putt. If there’s no marker in one of the society rounds like the CC ones still push your imaginary marker forward for a second or so, it’s still there even if you can’t see it. You can prove that by pulling the stick you would use to move the marker towards you and your backswing will slow right down that’s the intent moving towards your man. As well as that practice makes perfect or nearly, good luck 🍀 Problem is my LW pitch goes 70 yards, best I can bring back is to 40.. so why give us all the fittings that increase length of club and then f*uck us over..I do not agree with taking out the chip in the sand, I am far and few between but it is a golf shot that can be used in real life. Default balls I have no issue with all on same playing field is fine. |

I didn’t pitch I splashed and I can’t tell you the last time I chipped out of a bunker, but the last time I might have done it there would have been no lip on the bunker. You wouldn’t chip out of a bunker at St Andrews you would need to splash. Karacakes does a good YouTube video if your interested. |

Art Vandelay CC round 2: -11 Birdies & Eagles no bogies, my best round on masters by a country mile. TBH I used the orange aviator for round 2, wow that made a difference (for me) and I might as well use them for the rest tourney seeing I have never used anything but the standard ball.

Game changer for me today.
Thought I’d give my wired controller a go yesterday instead of my elite to see if it would help with the tempo due to it having a direct connection rather than Bluetooth
Initially yesterday when using it I couldn’t hit a fast ….. everything slow but not severe.
This morning I tried it on the range and calibrated it.
Played todays designer course ……. Water city 🤣🤣
I’ve just got the 100% FIR achievement pop 😮😮😮
Feels like a new game
Controller is a Razer Wolverine Tournament edition

inflames47TBC Designer Showcase @ Ken's bath tub Not too bad today, fortunately no rogue shots but just couldn't seem to nail the birdies. Ironic after 3 of the 4 rounds I played today I received free golf ball sleeves not that they get used but still no refund deal for them. Also I played 3rd round of Plat tour and on the 1st I hit my approach shot to within 10 feet, however with 186 green speed my slight tap of a putt missed the hole by a few inches and then a couple of feet passed the hole picked up speed like a souped up car and finished 40 yards away in a dell on the fairway.

Art Vandelay R4 -1 Garbage tempo => too many shots in the rough or missing the greens or bending side hill putts => mediocre score. Being positive, that's two weeks now where every round is under par ... but somehow I scored worse this week on the so-called easy course than last week.
