This game was not ready for the general public at these prices.
I am still waiting for my VC which should have come with the game and 2K support sucks big time.
I was up to 40 skills fitted now when I turn it on it says 23 fitted and 16 remaining points to choose it's a bloody mess.
As far as the Pro or Master debate I will only play Master if that's what TGC is playing.
I think 2K23 was a rip off from 2K21 it has possibilities but I can see me playing EA next year.

This is not meant to be bragging tho it may come off that way. Still I FINALLY played two rounds under par on Master in a society! Second round was nearly clean, Humphed the last.   Onward! Nice beard, sir. lol Thanks Paul but it looks so fake. Like I bought it at a Halloween costume flea market, complete with fleas. C'mon 2K/HB, we can/should do better! Onward! |

BTW was feeling cocky after my two sub par rounds and played rd 1 of TGCT Elite. Crashed back to earth with +9, finishing Humph-Double-Double.

inflames47 Perth GC, Scotland published with green speed of 10.0 Hogan’s Point GC green speed 7.4 Edit: In game it says Perth is 7.3 speed but in the designer I set them at 10.0 not sure what to go off. The Green speed is what it is when you are on the green putting but not to worry Les I will take a look later, I have Hogan's and will add Perth sometime today. |

Must admit I’m looking forward to the EA offering especially as it’s now coming to PC. I’m hoping it has a good career mode because the one in 2k23 is pretty half arsed. |

SkyBlueBenCouldn’t agree more Ben. The career mode has barely changed from the last version which was disappointing to say the least. Wouldn’t have even bothered with it had it not been for the vc, fittings and other goodies.

Smashed out 4 rounds today so I could complete this TBC test event.
I would've been under par for all 4 rounds if the short game around the greens wasn't trash in this game.

Be careful! I was looking at my fittings and noticed nothing was fitted. My driver said 274. I was at 295 and I almost started to buy everything again as I couldn’t figure out what was going on. I inadvertently put in the guest golfer and started to do bag. Lol, I backed out and realized I was in the guest golfer bag. I do this all the time! Freaks me out! Keep getting me bumpers and triggers muddled up - stupid menus! I do the same, lol |

In my 2nd season I’ve been swapping out everyone that I can just to change it up. And if you are tied it goes to a playoff which is different from the last game. But yea, the same as last game. Is EA going to sell more games than 2K based on the Masters and other major courses? Who knows. I’m buying it just because of the true Masters course. I’m sure they will have 20-25 other courses as well for their career mode. But without a course designers mode how can people just play the career mode courses and not get bored fast? Online play is where 2K survives. Societies keeps players buying 2K IMO. Societies and the course designer go hand and hand. Will EA have that? Game play is no doubt better than the last game. But it will be fun to finally see the Pros and Cons of two different golf games and see how they line up and where people go. EA could have more sales right out of the gate because of the majors but in the weeks following where will the actual gamer go when they crank up their console or PC to play golf? Now both companies don’t care how often you play their game unless a lot VC is offered and the goods and services are sufficient to keep that gamer fulfilled. For me, I’ll lean towards where TGC goes with regards to day to day game play. And of course The Brew Crew. Of all of the golf games since TGC started what golf game has had the most competitive balance? Some of the top golfers are saying this game will give the advantage to the player that maximizes the fittings, ect. as skill alone will not separate as much now. I still think in the end the top 1% have nothing to worry about. |

Art Vandelay I've given up after 2.5 rounds and there is not enough time to come back to this when the steam has stopped coming out of my ears. Positives: - Masters tempo off the tee and with irons is good on my Series S. Nothing particularly random occurred - Putting is OK except the back swing on the short putts but still manageable (although I am focussing on Greensman). Negatives: - Don’t put pins on orange slopes again. The 4th pin on R2 was on orange. I putted it from about 25 feet uphill and it stopped an inch short and then rolled back to my feet. - Anything around the green under 20 yards is a joke. I'm completely lost. Most of my dropped shots each round have come from a couple of quadruple bogeys or worse from Splash shots or green side chips The tempo is completely fcuked on these. I cannot hit the ball slow enough, even trying my putting stroke. At the moment this a gamebreaker for me.
