Brew Crew Inaugural PGA2K23 Chip Shot Simulator EventArt Vandelay      The splash shot needs some tweaking
I'm perfectly fine if TGCT went pro. No way I'll ever get out of school on master. I actually like master but competitively there is no way I can keep my head above the water. Not to mention the membership will take a huge hit. A lot of us lower down who struggle will give up. Myself included. They won't make the donation targets with only 300 people playing. Most the donations come from CC.

Why do I have a black line instead of a blue line in my circle? Anybody have this issue? This appeared last night. I’ll restart and see if that makes a difference…. Mine went the same last night too |

First Pint in the v2K23 Arms - Round 1Art Vandelay Well, I was going to ease myself into Master gently but thought bugger it and dived in! Front 9 I was all over the shop but steadied down on the back 9 and could have saved the round with some better putting. Should have got the Greensman on board! Short game needs a lot of work and I keep slipping the odd slow off the tee. Just a lazy motion, I can tell I've done it immediately. Strangely though, despite the struggle, I'm enjoying things. This is going to take some time!! Onward!!!  I’m having fun just a struggle with my pitch shots from the rough. I get a slow everytime and well short. I used to be deadly from 80 out. Now when I’m at 80 my shot goes 45. 😡 it reminds me when they nerfed the splash shot for a few weeks before deciding to put it back to normal. I’m hoping I just need a restart as I have strange things going on like a black line instead of a blue line in my circle. |

Art VandelayBy the 3rd hole i eventually got the gist of what to click when. Just almost never managed to actually do it. Did get a 2 hole par streak though. And a steam achievement for persisting. And resigned my commission as a TGCTours Beer League society member in a flash. In case anyone wants to try, press A and hold until the circle fill up to a line, then release A, be vigilant 'cos when you release there's this line that is gonna be whipping around the circle anti clockwise and try and slam that A button at the 12 o' clock notch and slam A again when it passes 6 o' clock. (for the Millennials, it is top end and bottom end of the round thingy) Putting is much simpler clicking, but probably harder to judge. And just because it is Sunday, another back page video!

Keep your head up Tim. We are all struggling at the game. In some ways I have no issue as it is challenging to learn. I hate having terrible scores but part of the learning process. I’ll still play whatever TGC Tours throws at us. The Brew Crew is important to me so I’ll just do my best. And of course TGC Tours is important as I want to do well but I won’t let it get me down if I struggle out of the gate and get stuck in CC-L for a while. |

How do you get a ghost to play with? I had no players to pick from but I was seeing their scores on the leaderboard. I tried both and I only saw my name in Live.

I've been here a long time and can't imagine a time where I'm not here. I'll plug on surely but others may not. I do feel they need to keep the membership high to keep up the costs of running this place. I do remember when 21 came out it was tough for everyone, myself included and I remember a lot of people complaining. I was one of them. I'm in the "will play whatever TGCTours throws at us camp. Always have. In away its a case of "careful what you wish for" As I had become totally burnt out on the birdie fests and wanted tougher courses and conditions." Well dammit. I got what I wished for. And then some. I'm level 34 now so hoping I can get my fully active perks all filled in. I've got the driver, woods and irons level 7. Not sure if I'll level my wedges or putter or put my final points into things to improve my timing on splashes and sh%$ /off to go smash my way around the Kinetic or CC event now. |

Art Vandelay All Brew Crew Rounds I suggest all players back out when done and get the image below. In game one gives you black scores hard to see.. missed a few putts more than I like too but all good.

My first Brew Crew Tourney on Masters
Rd 1(+7)
I was up and down. My biggest issue was I still have a black line instead of a blue and my wedge shots out of the rough are terribly slow…I used Greensman for my archetype. There are too many fittings to explain thst one, lol. I found my scorecard but couldn’t find the event stats. I’m sure it’s all there just probably not looking at screen as I back out of pages too quickly.
