To all of you who hate the gold driver/putter (hi!), there is a free second option just the the right of the golds in your club selection screens: the cool matte blue argyle driver from iterations past, and a plain Jane putter. Snagged both, customized the look of the shafts and grips (free!) and away I go. Putter also has the hockey stick option for all you weirdos out there. Play some freakin' golf Mark and stop fvcking around! You got 50 levels to go boyo! A little thing that we here in the States like to call “employment”, Pete!  |

No coins and any of the other goodies that you are meant to get from purchasing TW edition.
I've play 3 rounds in my career and I'm already at nearly 1000 coins, level 5 and earning lots of xp. One round was approx 950xp.
I also had the game crash once (totally froze) and lost connection once as well.
I did notice that your caddie looks like your avatar that you setup (twin brother maybe  ).
The short game is really tough especially chipping and putting. I decided not to calibrate my swing yet. I wanted to see what the default swing tempo etc was like.
inflames47 Carol, my graphic settings are nearly the same as I had setup on 2K21. There's a new option called SSGI which I have turned on, this wasn't in 2K21.
These settings are giving me a steady 60fps but I still need to adjust some settings in the Nvidia control panel for the game which should increase the fps.

Pro swing and normal for me right now. Haven't tried Master swing yet--working my way up. I've made one cut so far out of 4 tourneys but getting better. Just trying to control my shots (chipping and putting) at the moment. I haven't made any sensitivity adjustments yet. I really like the improved ball physics though... I love the new game. I like the menu, love the driving range. The game play is terrific. I’v played about 5 single round career mode tourneys and finally have a sense with chipping now. The partials with regards to chipping in this game for me is much smoother and I have a feel for it now. I’m not going to lie I still overcook some of the chips but overall I feel I will be ready by Week 1 of qualifying. The putting is actually smoother than last game. I am playing on master difficulty without even playing pro yet. I’d rather go from Master to Pro difficulty so I avoid the struggle bus somewhat with a jump in difficulty. I have started a few societies and I already see the Plat players doing well….But for me this is a brand new game and that is what I like about it. I would not want to open up with a -10 on my first round out of the gate. I’ll be slotted(TGC tours)to wherever my character progresses with improvements and equipment changes with the fittings. As you keep playing the improvement will come. My first 2 tourneys in career were double digit over par. (+22 and +13) with the +22 I was all over the place around the greens. I got that shaved to +2 by tourney 5. But overall I’m happy. I’m not really focusing on scoring right now but trying to get the chipping figured out….. |

will you lot SHUT UP regarding new game ROFL some of us are stamping our feet so hard im digging a tunnel to aussie land but thats the price for standard version i guess (crafty bdards lol) whats worse for me is i cant stop watching streams so i guess on the +side by friday ill know what to do but some of us will be 3 days behind you pre-order guys so we may need a few extra days to gain coins fixings etc as we start with 0 coins etc
im only kidding guys post away make us jealous :-)

All I’m really doing myself Danny is banging away on easy settings looking to get those skill points and pick up a bit of gear along the way. When I get there I ‘ll sit back and work out what to do with all the stuff I’ve accumulated. No real interest in career mode otherwise. |

It's not making my jealous. Taking the standard version looks like we won't have a DLC problem on PC Danny as we are not getting any extras. Yes I'd like to have a play, but really glad I didn't go for the extras.
Just to say I have read most of the pros and cons written in the forum, but avoided watching any of the streamers as I will make up my own mind on the game when I get chance to play later next week as besides loading it and getting through the basics on Friday and Saturday I'm away until Friday next week.
Enjoy yourselves guys and I'll be lurking in the background pitching in now and again over the next 6 months or so.

FYI. There's a two-round tourney open today in the PC Society: PGA TOUR 2K OFFICIAL SOCIETY (HB_KeithC), if anyone is interested in "competitive" ghost play.

One thing I have noticed is that the game defaults to switching "turn order" off if you exit a round with ghosts and go back in. So you'll have to turn it back on if that is your preference (personally, I hate BALLS flying while taking a shot). |

I've played a few courses today that I hit last week on 2K21. They look really good--definitely an upgrade. Also a nice touch with surname detail on caddie in career mode...  |

My god 2k are hopeless 17 hours and still waiting for a response from the 2k support team to open ticket. You have a mountain of money for the game you'd think they could at least talk to me, If they dare say they're busy and run off their feet then I have a fix for that as well, DONT RELEASE GAME WITH BUGS!!! A major gaming company like 2K has no excuse whatsoever to release two games (2k21 was also bugged like this on release). Absolutely disgusting customer service.
