So last night at midnight I was like a kid on Xmas morning. I hit the button to open the game and I get a message that said you can not use the PS 4 dual shock controller in this PS 5 game. I had been using on the 21 game since mid season as it felt better and my scores were obviously better. So at 12:02 am I picked up my PS5 controller and noticed the cord was missing. I couldn’t open the damn game. My PS4 cord wouldn’t fit in the ps5 controller and I’m cursing on who took my cord that was wrapped nicely around my PS5 controller. I went to my Xbox controller that I use for my laptop and used that cord and it fit perfectly. If I didn’t try my Xbox cord I’d been at my local Walmart at 6am to buy a new ps 5 controller because I still have no idea where that cord is but have a feeling my kid took it for his Xbox.

No coins and any of the other goodies that you are meant to get from purchasing TW edition.
I've play 3 rounds in my career and I'm already at nearly 1000 coins, level 5 and earning lots of xp. One round was approx 950xp.
I also had the game crash once (totally froze) and lost connection once as well.
I did notice that your caddie looks like your avatar that you setup (twin brother maybe  ).
The short game is really tough especially chipping and putting. I decided not to calibrate my swing yet. I wanted to see what the default swing tempo etc was like.
inflames47 Carol, my graphic settings are nearly the same as I had setup on 2K21. There's a new option called SSGI which I have turned on, this wasn't in 2K21.
These settings are giving me a steady 60fps but I still need to adjust some settings in the Nvidia control panel for the game which should increase the fps.

I like career mode to grind but I waiting for the societies to start forming. I think I just saw one society so far.

Midnight last night I started the game and it started right up, decided to go to the range and hit 100 golf balls. I usually mark down how many perfects I hit didn’t really need to bother I hit 0. Everything was either grey slow or black slow no matter how fast I pushed the stick through. I played for about 25 mins and decided I had enough.
Started the game this morning and played a round as Jon Rahm fcuking nightmare finished something like +17 playing as those pros is hard won’t be doing it again. Went to design my avatar and honestly its pants compared to 21 no options to shape your jaw or face just pick your basic face, hair style and colour. Yes or no facial hair, no for me but I could have given him mutton chops 😂 i know probably one pro who fits that description Beef is his nickname.
Went on to select my profile I’m using master difficulty and Rhythm, changed my putter because I hate that gold one, driver will be next on the agenda for change. Equipped my TW shirt, pants, hat and shoes for now and used three skill points I got from a few goes on Topgolf I still don’t like it as a mode but you can earn easy VC playing it.
Ported three of my last courses into the designer just to see how it went, one of the courses had a few floating trees which I fixed then saved. When I started the designer to look at the thumbnail it was corrupt but the course pulled in ok, exited without saving and the thumbnail is back to normal. Two of the courses looked a lot more vibrant pea green trees 🤒
Played three practice rounds around them and the game played a lot better than last night, I was ready to bin it last night but changed my mind this morning. Chipping is difficult, partial pitches are ok once you work out how far back you need to pull the stick. Putting is very temperamental you barely need to touch the ball so I slowed the greens down on one of the courses and it felt more like the old game. Splash shots from bunkers are not bad but I still left a couple in there oh and I whiffed a driver with Rahm it carried about 80 yds 😂
I’m hoping in time I can become competitive using master difficulty , I did try one round on pro but saw no appreciable difference.
Any way that’s my review take it or leave it.

So, aside from not getting the stuff from the deluxe package, I've now had two blue screens of death in the last hour or so. All in all, not a great launch day for me  |

4 rounds in. Doing career now. Passed school. Now in Korn. I'm warming up to this game. Still has some jank and fkery going on but over all not bad. Can set your watch to a slow off the tee on a par 5. Playing Rhythm and focusing on my driver points and irons at the moment. I was afraid of the putting after hearing/watching streams but I don't find it too bad at all. The camera kind of f's with my head a bit in mid flight it just seems to drop out of the air. Will get used to it. I laugh every time I hear Luke, or as I call him Laughing Gas Luke. And his redneck buddy. I've always found him to be annoying. It's like having an American football announcer doing golf. My caddy is a hottie. But can't change her hair color to blonde.  Closed out game to tweak nvidea a bit and to test if my progression has been saved. Heading back in to grind some more career |

To all of you who hate the gold driver/putter (hi!), there is a free second option just the the right of the golds in your club selection screens: the cool matte blue argyle driver from iterations past, and a plain Jane putter. Snagged both, customized the look of the shafts and grips (free!) and away I go. Putter also has the hockey stick option for all you weirdos out there.   |

You can fine-tune most facial settings by clicking "edit face" after you have chosen a generic one  The scroll over to the attribute you want to adjust. Can't edit hairstyle though--just the color...  I've got crazy eyes right now--similar to Rasputin--still fine-tuning...  |

Once I've got the game on Friday, the society for the knockouts will be be setup on the PS, probably put one of the official real courses up to play on to start. I'm guessing that we're all going master at first as that seems to be the way tgct is likely to go. |
