I didn’t play the other golf games. But were there many changes from one game to the next?

Oh boy.
I am currently watching GDog on twitch and apparently the ball sleeves affects the green speed. So when playing in a TGC round you might be playing in a 170 green speed and another golfer plays on a different green speed if they have different ball sleeves.
Basically you are going to have to find your particular favorite green speed and get those particular golf balls as you can adjust the rolls with the balls. So far max roll gives you 199 green speed on a particular ball sleeve… The default balls gives you 192 max.
I don’t know how TGC can level this, Doley has his work cut out with this ball sleeve issue because you are going to have to grind a lot to get VC so you can keep up with the ball sleeves you go through.

Golf balls should not change course conditions and as of now it does. Crazycanuck feels they will fix this issue. He is hoping before launch. Stay tuned.

Thanks for the replies, good to see so many plan to get the new game and stay onboard with TBC. No response yet from a few of our regulars.... dave69 phannigan CGib2 Doe Coba Ashton Fox horusphoenix Important we get a good idea of numbers so we can see the best way to approach Season 12. So, for the above, simple question. Sticking with us or dumping us for 2K23? Hi Ben I plan on getting the game when the standard relase date comes up. If the game is playable with a mouse within reasonable time, I will be happy to still play The Brew Crew. If it is a hopeless task like it was in 2019 I don't think it will be enjoyable, but I'll be sure to let you know. |

Important to watch Respawns video talking about the good and Alot of BAD stuff in the release of the game. Hopefully they will fix some of the problems noted in this video.

Boy! steep learning curve!
Found menus not very user friendly.
Hit 1 or 2 Perfects on Master.
Chipped in from 28 yds out.
Putting I thought was ok.
Long, long way to go.

The ball issue is the main one thst needs to be fixed for competitive balance on the TGC Tours. Stupid balls should not change the green speeds. How can you have a tournament with different course conditions from player to player? I can see very subtle with some spin but not having a green speed going from 167 down to 144 because of the ball. The TGC Tours are going to have figure that one out. The game play is awesome according to all steamers I watched. A few issues with other things but those seem simple fixes. My countdown ticker on my PS5 says 11:17 I work til 11:30 and will be wide awake when I get home tonight. |
