Finishing up PGA 2K21 with a few good friends on a great course by Palo I had some birdie streak going on there but couldn't quite get all 18 as I was trying for. See you all on the other side my friends and a big thanks to the admins of brew crew who has put in a lot of work to make all this possible.

On with the recap. Day one and SURPRISE Palo takes the lead with -10. Most of the field bettered par, see it was not so hard eh? Day two and you folks are really in the swing of things! Only one not playing at par or better (so close Pete!) and Charlie makes a move on our Fabulous Finn, closing the gap to one stroke. 18 of 21 under par halfway through, impressive. Moving day a little tougher, still no scores way over par. Charlie surges to the top taking a one shot lead into the final round over Palo. The race for third is tight, with Leon, Doe, Ernie and Ross within 5 shots of each other. Wooden spoon looks to be a Peter and Paul affair (what no Mary?) Day four was not Sunday Funday as the course and the pressure took its toll. Congrats to Palo who closed with a dazzling -10 to nip Charlie by one for the title. Leon took the bronze but Les closed with a strong final round to finish 4th. A bigger surprise and the other end of the table as Tim dashed into the scullery and grabbed to spoon o’ wood out of the grasps of Peter and Paul. Was a Shark like meltdown, tried to look away… This puts a capper on TBC 2K21 style. Thanks all for playing. Remember to respond to Ben about your interest in TBC 2K23 (although most have done so to this point). Onward!

I know we have three days left until the early release but was just looking at my hours spent across all the TGC games so far (courtesy of Steam): The Golf Club - 56.8 hrs-- bought it late just before 2 came out (2018) The Golf Club 2 - 136.1 hrs. --a little more interested (2018) The Golf Club 2019 featuring the PGA TOUR-- 1250.1 hrs--now we're talking PGA TOUR 2K21--- 3351.1 hrs -- I blame TBC (and insomnia and the pandemic) Looking forward to 2K23. Let's see what happens. Farewell 2K21!!! Enjoy playing with all of you! Look forward to more of the same.

The Golf Club 3.2 hoursThe Golf Club 2 27 hoursThe Golf Club 2019 806 hours (stumbled across TGC Tours)PGA Tour 2K21 877 hours
That doesn't include my time on XB (played a little on and off) and PS4 (only got the version to play a game against the legends that are IGolfBad evilgrin72 and cappy1 though. Hate the controller).
Apart from the golden years of lockdown I don't get as much time as I'd like on gaming. Train and Flight sim take up a fair amount of my available time as I find them both relaxing after a hard day. Too old nowadays for gunning and running!
In other news I added a SATA SSD to my system this week and today I'm taking on replacing the boot drive with a 2GB M.2 nvme SSD drive. If I don't manage to cock things up and break my PC my 2K23 loading times will be like sh1t off a shovel!
Onward as the Golden Guru would say!!!

The Brew Crew 2K23Thanks for all the responses to the TBC 2K23 question. Just a couple of "regulars" to respond but we've got a very healthy group going forward. I'm particularly happy to welcome the founding father of TBC Mike katana22 back to competitive play. For me personally, that's proper fired up my enthusiasm for the new game and the new Brew Crew season. Next step obviously is to get the game in our grubby little hands and give it The Full Monty. We will watching closely both how our Members get on and where TGCT align themselves with regard to difficulty level. The more feedback we get the better.Once we get the opportunity to set up the Societies on all systems we'll put together some Test Events of our own to run alongside TGCT's offerings.
