It's a Knockout - Finalist confirmed
Congratulations to Ross, he's confirmed the first offical spot for the final. As we say goodbye to Eric until 2k23, Ross can start to prepare for the final which he may very well come to regret the conditions he has set for it!

Flip side of the coin, perhaps he knew he possibly could be in final and put the settings to his liking lol!!

Just a heads up, particularly to Art Vandelay .... It looks like we have a major hurricane bearing down on FL, so I am going to need to do some prep the next few days. I'm going to TRY to get my rounds done before this thing gets here, but I can't sacrifice storm preparedness for pixel golf mediocrity - haha. Hopefully I can get them all in before this thing hits, but if not - there's a chance I could be without power or internet for a few days, it's happened before. Just in case I suddenly go AWOL, don't think I've abandoned the Brew Crew in the final days of 2K21 - if I'm uncommunicative, it's out of necessity, not apathy. Be safe that is more important, do all that is necessary to protect yourself,I hear this is going to be a doozy of a storm of if it stalls. Thanks Carol. Luckily (for me at least,) I'm on the east coast, but Tampa is in deep trouble. Coast Guard is running a Katrina-style evac of the Tampa Bay area, the fear is "once in a hundred years" storm surge/flooding. There are a lot of low lying areas out there that are likely to be underwater. The displacement and damage is going to be severe. Whatever happens in my area should be mild by comparison, but there's a good chance we lose power for a while.

We have family around the Miami area so always keep a close eye on the weather systems. Personally find it fascinating but easy for me to say in my armchair from afar. Stay safe guys!

Few months back a buddy of mine was in Florida to buy a place in Lakeland, Tampa area apparently (we are in Canada). He finds out there is a lien on the place and nothing but evasiveness from the elderly sellers and son. He bails on the deal (and avoids this hurricane) Comes home, few months later buys and moves to Newfoundland. And gets hit by Fiona last week lol. /still scratching my head on his choice. Tropical climate or winter where the snow is as high as the roofs of the the houses. Picks the snow...lol..He has family down in Newfie so guess thats why he did it. But no way hell I would have. lol/Edit. Stay safe to those who are in it's path.

Designers showcase : Tuesday @ Hochgarten GC Took some time off from skiing ⛷️ to try and tame this beautiful course from Palo. Very good course. Really have to think your way around it. A couple of holes got the better of me, but overall was happy with my round. As that classic 80's band The Cars said... Skiing ⛷ On the slopes surrounding the course 😉. My poor attempt at humour Les 🤪🤣

Hurricane knocking on our doorsteps. I’ll probably lose power starting tomorrow so I finished up my rounds at Cobble Beach.
The greens just tear me apart. I just can’t seem to get the correct power for the hard right hand turns, lol, I seem to be just a whisker off. And then when I try to correct on next hole I overcompensate and edge burn thst one. I just need better approach shots in the correct landing zone….oh well, still love the course!

I live in Clearwater….My home is 10 ft above sea level and live 5 miles from Tampa Bay.

Designers showcase : Tuesday @ Annelund G.C.
Just for once, I played worse in D.S. than in Rumble. But this course is too narrow and wet for me, though extremely nice.
And that pond in the 8th fairway, anywhere I aim, left, centre or right, I'll never avoid !

Oh man.... I sure hope it's not as bad as all that. Actually, the most recent tracks show landfall further south, around Ft. Myers, if that happens, it won't be anywhere NEAR as bad in Tampa, so you may be OK after all. I'm pulling for you, buddy.....
