Crumble Round 2 vs Wedgefoot hoosierhoops24What is the good doctor Wedgefoot doing in D-4?  Staring down Jeff’s -7 gave me little hope of taking him down, let alone breaking par in tougher conditions. But the eagles were soaring in the high winds, and carried me out to a sub-par round.  Art Vandelay, my vision was stunted by what Jeff called “diagnostic” eye drops, but I know better.  Ended up improving over round 1, but ceded early. Rd 2: -2  Well played, Jeff! Always good to share a round, good sir! |

Crumble Round 3 with Sir Paul of the House of Davies thetaffmanEnjoyed this stroll in the rain where things finally went right, Art Vandelay Was able to bring my overall score under par for a change after a rocky start, and feel confident that I will avoid what otherwise felt like an eventual spooning. Here is your 2K23 homework: This excites the RPG lover in me. I'm hoping there is not one meta build that everyone goes for. The big unknown is how this translates into gameplay and especially cross-platform fairness. |

Is your caddy armed also for a co-op mode? |

As an aside, I'd just like to say this: from having watched Apexhound's vid yesterday, 2K23 looks more like what should be an update than a new game. In my opinion even £50 is a piss-take, never mind over £100.
I'm curious about the RPG elements of the game, but I don't want them to feature in any way in the competitive side of the game; it's far too arcadey -- if that's even a word -- for my liking.
Also, Tiger looks ridiculous from what I could see. His swing looks nothing like the real thing. It feels like every effort has been put into gimmicks like Top Golf and nothing else.
At the moment of typing this post, I'm not sure if I'll get the game. If I'm honest, I probably will; but I'll feel like I'm being mugged off.
Just my two cents.

deathstarCharles storms in with a convincing win. I found it very hard to get going but once I found a few putts, the damage had already been done. Congrats my friend and good luck in the semi's.

They’ve obviously mo capped Jon Rahm’s swing I think it was Apexhound that showed it on a video it looked great. I watched a video by the Gdog he’s had the game what 3 days and he’s already got his drives to carry over 320yds and didn’t miss many fairways by fitting his clubs and using a specific ball. He also hit a drive with and overswing of 110% so you know what’s coming next courses over 8000 yds or ribbon thin fairways. |
