Art Vandelay Here are all my week 2 scores including the R4 Rumble. I've also added the XBox leaderboard in case anyone's score is missing.

Art Vandelay The Rumble all rounds. Very frustrated with the front nine putting on all four rounds, where I just could not get the birdies (or eagles). Yellow slopes with dots racing and puts barely fell - no yellows and a few dots moving slowly and the puts fell like crazy. Lucklily the back nine were more predictable for me, so on average got it to 6-8 under par there to save some good total scores. All in all very pleased with my rounds so hope I can at least stay in division 2.

 A not so solid week for me.. 4th round -1 Art Vandelay brings my 4 rounds to an outstanding -8 !

Here is your 2K23 homework: This excites the RPG lover in me. I'm hoping there is not one meta build that everyone goes for. The big unknown is how this translates into gameplay and especially cross-platform fairness. Archetype? So club brands are just for cosmetic purposes. You have to select your archetype and then grind it out with rounds to improve your clubs? Crazycanuck said the more rounds you play the better. I guess I’ll grind out the career mode as you can swap out tourneys to create your own season of courses. I wonder what the meta will be with regards to archetype? Once it’s figured out people will just zone in and the separation of talent will ensue very quickly. I can’t wait for the early release to figure all of this out. This game is no doubt going to be completely different than the current one. It’s going to be interesting……. |

Art Vandelay inflames47 have played 2 rounds so far this week shall post scores once i finish last 2 rounds which will probably be tomorrow the bad news is this will be my last wwek playing 2K21 as wanted to make sure i complete these 2 weeks not that it will matter as i will be div 2 after this week i just have 0 desire to play 2k21 now took me till today since last friday to even be bothered to load game up & play brew crew & had no interest in working shots out so was just whacking it & leaving long putts lol on a positive note am so pleased we going back to masters for 2k23 back to way it should be as pro too easy just hope its better for xboxers

I read Doyley's announcement on the future of TGCT. A few things that caught my eye. 1) Future seasons will be played on either Master or Legend level, likely the former. 2) Chipping begins at 25 yards on the low end. Anything less requires partial shots. If partial shot execution is anything like it is on 21, forget it. I cannot hit a shot under 90% without going at least red fast/slow for all the money in the world. 3) Looks like stats/attributes/experience points to level up your golfer is part and parcel of '23. I haven't watched the videos Ken posted yet, but it seems that more play = more attribute points. If that's the case, I'll forever be lagging behind. I barely have the time to play the 4 society rounds each week. I'm trying to keep an open mind, but it certainly looks like my time with this game may be done. Hopefully I see some things once the game comes out that push me the other way, but as it looks right now, next week's tournament is probably the end of my TGC career. I hope you stick around.. how I will miss you if you don't! |

I've grown genuinely fond of so many here, that would be the only thing I'd miss if I need to step away.
It may end up being a situation where I need to walk away for a while and then make my way back (if only as a sub or whatnot if there's no space) after some time has passed. Or, it may be much ado about nothing. Or, I may not even buy the game after reading initial feedback. I honestly have no idea at this point, I'm just going to sit back and wait for the release and see what transpires. I have so much going on outside of pixel golf that it may have necessitated a break anyway, so I'm not going to put the cart before the horse right now - I'll just wait and see what shakes out. |

Art Vandelay rumble rounds 1 and 2. As usual, garbage putting stopped me from posting a great score. The driver still has only two polling points, but it seems I've got used to it.
prowse00 will get my matchplay round played tomorrow.
As an aside, I'd just like to say this: from having watched Apexhound's vid yesterday, 2K23 looks more like what should be an update than a new game. In my opinion even £50 is a piss-take, never mind over £100.
I'm curious about the RPG elements of the game, but I don't want them to feature in any way in the competitive side of the game; it's far too arcadey -- if that's even a word -- for my liking.
Also, Tiger looks ridiculous from what I could see. His swing looks nothing like the real thing. It feels like every effort has been put into gimmicks like Top Golf and nothing else.
At the moment of typing this post, I'm not sure if I'll get the game. If I'm honest, I probably will; but I'll feel like I'm being mugged off.
Just my two cents.

Just checking in - been awhile! Read Doyley's post and watched a couple of the videos. Game is looking promising to me, can't wait to dive in. Is it October 11 yet?!?
