I like the new format, change is good from time to time. I think the Pub Craw and OFTR are perfectly wrapped for being team based. You and a different parter for 3 rounds try to accumulate as much as you can together and if you have a slip up your partner could have a hot round and save the day with the lifeline..And then you are on your own for RD 4 which is always fun. I do like the Modified Stableford a little better than best ball but is just me. And of course I love Bottom’s Up and the two rounds with that as well. No pressure as you just roll the dice and see what happens. Everybody has their own opinions but that is good as well as more data collected helps out TBC in the future. But the community within The Brew Crew is the best! So many personalities, so much enjoyment coming here to see how everybody is doing. We all have our lives but for parts of the day TBC makes it a nice addition. When I have a rough day with work I know I can come here and get a smile or two for sure. You've been a great addition Zooby. And we're taking credit for the improvement in your pixel golf game. Pity about your Round 3, I'd bet the wife on you winning your division this week. Looks like I'll be ironing my own shirts going forward! I’m glad to be part of TBC! And yes, credit goes here as I’m more focused than ever. I just started playing this game back in Oct 2020. My first series in the TGC qualification that week at the Clapper Classic was 457(+173), yup, that is correct+173……I was originally just playing a few weeks of Career mode on amateur and was thinking that is easy, lol. Then came that rude awakening. My 2nd week was an improvement at the Cracked Open when I scored 412(+124). And I was dead last and no surprise with those fugly scores, lol. I almost just quit and went back to career mode but I was determined to improve. Then in early Nov 2020 I finally got a tour card and was moving up the tiers until they nerfed the red fast. I only red fasted the drives as I watched them all do it on twitch. But prior I got up to CC-K and then I picked up more demo marks for no reason and got banished to CC-G. TGC said there was an issue that couldn’t be fixed. But I have been at CC-G ever since, lol. I will pretty much adapt to whatever the game throws at me. My high point so far with the TGC Tour is this week as I was leading CC-G after 2 rounds. My 3rd round was today and I crumbled like a cheap tent. But you have to keep going and hope to finish my 4th round strong. Go Grip It & Sip It!!!!!!! |

This should really be Art's Art Vandelay announcement as he put in all the graft but he's decided to slope off to bed. He needs to expand his latex empire to the city that never sleeps. Please welcome back Mr D(ependable). BIG D himself will be slotting into the Rum Raiders team. I hope Ashton Ashton Fox will be pleased to have another XBoxer on board and I'd like to thank Pat Celtic Wolf for stepping into the breach. I've lost count of the times Pat has helped us out. Hope you enjoy being a Raider Pat.   We all wish @bovakian the best in finding his happy space. I personally hope his health continues to improve. Week 2, Round 3 or A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Turn Clipping along nicely at -3 through 8, grabbed a beer from the cart on the 9th, shotgunned that joker, drank a few of its friends in the clubhouse, and by the time it was all over, my pants were thoroughly pissed. SkyBlueBen I’m fine with the format you’ve gone with it’s a good compromise, I don’t mind the matchplay element as it means I can have a really bad hole in a round but only lose the hole not necessarily the match. I feel the one more for the road could be dropped, apart from giving admins extra work I think it just gives the better players another opportunity to gain more points over the poorer teams. If the teams are ok having such a poor player I might continue next season as well. Hang in there Les, you will find your swing and form again.
Also this place wouldn't be the same without you.

Midway score for Beer League first 3 rounds
OFTR week 2 - I forgot to take picture of scorecard and have no clue how to get it now. My -7 consisted of 5 birdies, one eagle and the rest pars, so maybe that will help. Sorry.
