SkyBlueBen As a relative newbie to TBC take my voice with a pinch of salt. In terms of the format I like the new changes, only having 6 teams instead of 8 means you can start new seasons quicker and rejig teams / groups if need be, having an individual matchplay element in the 4th round makes it feel like you can still make a difference even if your team rounds go wrong. In terms of OFTR, the Modified Stableford makes every shot count, whereas the BetterBall means you can be a bit more relaxed when playing your round if someone has already hit a birdie you can take a risk and go for something you wouldn't normally, and with using your own courses we can play on something different we normally wouldn't see on tour. Doesn't matter how long you've been with us Paul you are part of the family and your opinion counts. I'm finding a 5 week season a little short. Just 2 weeks in and I already find myself looking at Season 10! The match play seems to have gone down well. We thought Better Ball simply wouldn't work with a team of 6 players. We have always used Brew Crew designed courses in OFTR prior to this season which was a nice way of seeing our own members work and I'm sure in future season's we'll return to that.

I thought you would be heading for CC-B this week. Was just looking at your sig and saw the Dead Parrots in there. Made me smile. That was a cracking set up with the Monty Python theme. Shame HB's meddling broke it

I can understand the BetterBall argument as with a team of 6, as I'm player 6, the likelihood of my score being the one that counts is greatly diminished. Maybe in terms of season length, maybe play each team twice to make it 10 matches if you want to keep it at 6 teams, like you said thinking about it 5 weeks with no play-off / post-season play is possibly too short, between 7-12 weeks seems to be a sweet spot

Very hard to hit that sweet spot to keep everybody interested. At the end of the day it’ll be driven by how many return for Season 10.

Art VandelayOFTR Round -8 Well my break away didn't last for too long. It came during the early stages of my transition from the baby clubs to some with a bit more oomph. I didn't have the most promising start but 6 birdies on the back 9 got me back on the comeback trail.

For all you folks in the UK: I'm no meteorologist, but this doesn't look too good... You all stay safe!

For all you folks in the UK: I'm no meteorologist, but this doesn't look too good... You all stay safe! An apparent weather bomb, potentially the worse storm to hit for over 30 years. Time to hold onto your hats! Ben and I are in the firing line for a rough start to the day.

Another week of Xbox roulette digital golf ….. totally cheesed off with this turd 💩 of a game tbh. It’s feels like a switch has been flicked since the last week of last season. I’ve missed every cut since then arthurvandelay
