Hello All,
Welcome to another week in the incredible world of The Brew Crew.
Week 2 of the Pub Crawl Season takes us to Malvern Hills Golf Club, a fictional Autumn theme course with a par of 72 which was created by Victor Lane.
Course Description:
Malvern Hills Golf Club is a fictional design based in the rolling hills of central Pennsylvania, USA during the autumn months. The course was built specifically for 2K's multiplayer mode and as such is fairly wide open and tame. With a little wind and a bump up in speed on the greens, this lengthy course can provide a bit more challenge during tournament play. Enjoy!

Week 2 – One for the Road
Week 2 of the season is the Modified Stableford format which takes us to Ojibway Trail GC, a fictional Boreal theme course with a par of 72 which was created by Wayne Adams.
Course Description: Ojibway Trail is a fictional course in a real place. Ojibway Nature Centre in Windsor Ontario Canada

SkyBlueBen Bloody Mary Cup A poor start by Doe Coba and not much better by me had us tied after 12 holes but a strong last few holes were enough to sneak past the Dane. 
Bleedin' fine finish Mr. Stevenson. Good luck onwards.

I started off on fire with 2 birdies and an eagle (just missed a alby by 4ft) on the first 3 holes. Then I lost my internet connection on the 7th hole after taking a swim to clean my ball. After a 20 min delay, my rhythm and tempo was all over the place which lead to another swim on hole 11. I was to score 3 birdies over the last 5 holes to make a half decent score.

Dormie Normie roundsArt Vandelay Trying to find positives. Made a 65 footer either in round 2 or 3 for an eagle. Could very well be my longest made putt in this version of the game. Did little to lighten the mood. Just too many red swings, too many bogeys. Got a reprieve during front 9 of 4th round, i assume they did a server reboot HB side at the time

Pub Crawl Rounds 1-4Art VandelayThis could have been really good except for a spell in Round 2 where things went a bit tits up. Quick change into the speedo's which had Art's Blue Rinse Army drooling in my direction for a short time, followed by a nice relaxing swim should have settled things down but went full Baldrick and compounded the humph with a following humph. Kept the cards pretty clean after that. Whether it will be enough to down my nemesis from the Penal Colony Leon Loftyando remains to be seen. Hopefully helped out my Partners in Rounds 1 and 3, Randy zooby97 and Tim TimB and confident my esteemed captain Art will dig me out of the bunker in Round 2. Hopefully will have no cut concerns this week but enjoyed my rounds and at the end of the day that's all that matters. Round 4 Scorecard....  And weekly summary....

Art Vandelay OFTR I started with OFTR while I waited for a live round 1 with Ross. Played solid but no idea if that is a good or bad score as I am first to play on XBox.

Art Vandelay R1 Me -6 Ross -14 I played live with Ross and he played a blinder (although not quite as good as the -17 he got in his practice round). I played very ordinary with very little luck. I loved this course but the layout seemed to penalise those with shorter clubs. I'm also not a fan of half the pins being close to the front of the green with soft fairways and firm greens.

Pub Crawl Rounds 1-4 Hopefully helped out my Partners in Rounds 1 and 3, Randy zooby97 and Tim TimB a Is scared to play today for some reason. lol Just not in the groove/mindset. Hopefully will get into a flow once I get a few practice holes in me on the Plat or Elite event |

Been playing the Promo event a few holes at a time as a warm up for my Brew Crew rounds. Decided to jump in and finish off Round 1. It seems the less I try the better I do. Scared to play the following rounds now as it can only go downhill. Had one of those rounds where every bounce went in my favour and the chipping Gods were partying! Why can't I do this in CC??  |
