Stumble to the CarRound 4 Hole in one. Not long before that I was lamenting to the wall that "it would be nice to have a good shot for a change. Not like I would ever get a hole in one or anything". The wall listened. I wasn't expecting it to even get close. Be sure to thank the invisible gallery for carrying you through it all, especially the

Brew Crew NewsI'd like to thank Art Art Vandelay for going above and beyond and getting stuck into his new duties over the last few weeks, especially over the last few days where real life issues dragged me away from my responsibilities here. Thankfully things appear to be looking up today so in the best Music Hall traditions it's an Onward from me!!! Season 9 will see Art in charge of all things scoring and I'll just be around to assist if needed and to check the new season spreadsheet actually works with the change in format. I won't be unemployed though and will continue to oversee It's A Knockout (with Carol inflames47 and Paul's sid snott help setting up the courses) and be around in any areas I'm needed. Just set in motion the draft for Season 9 which again Mike katana22 has very kindly agreed to organise. I can't not do anything, it's not how I'm wired!

Stumble to the CarArt Vandelay SkyBlueBen @restofforum CC Rounds.Round 1 63 -7 Round 2 63 -7 (considering the last two events I was over par in my round two's to say I was nervous would be an understatement. Relieved to have come in under par)Round 3 60 -10 Round 4 63 -7 -31 TotalI really wanted to finish in the -30's for this one. Didn't think I would make it but got lucky. Round 4 Hole in one. Not long before that I was lamenting to the wall that "it would be nice to have a good shot for a change. Not like I would ever get a hole in one or anything". The wall listened. I wasn't expecting it to even get close.

including OOB on the short par 4. It took me until the 4th round to nab a big bird on it. Having learned my lesson a couple weeks ago with a driveable par 4 where I put in the water. I played it safe. Only to bogey it twice and par it twice. If my old memory is correct, I don't think I birdied it. It's a deceptive little bastard of a hole. I found most this course was an exercise of in between clubs and distances. No complaints. Even though I do consider it a B fest, (leaderboards had a ton of -40's and 50's. I actually enjoyed this one because it was challenging (at least for me) 4 rounds of golf.

Do we have any leaderboards to check in the society for these next two weeks. @arthurvandeley or whoever it may concern here are my scores on this birdie fest of a course. Tempo issues first two rounds looks like I will gain a demo mark again this week. Not that happy with a course that has internal out of bounds that you could actually play out of if you wanted, I don’t mind them if they are filled with rocks and you might get an unplayable lie but when they are just grass it makes no sense. Said out of bounds cost be 7 shots this week and yes I know they are there but I actually hit into them with poor tempo not a perfect. I can see me finishing bottom of any leaderboards so I will be the little lad in the school yard who is the last pick when it comes to picking any team.

Finished with a -15.

Art VandelayWell onto next week. Started off ok but lost it completely. Whether it was tempo issues, unlucky putts or just pure stupidity, this week had it all. Suppose the only thing I can take from it is I'm not letting any teammates down this week.

Crumble to the Bar Round 1 My birdie-fest quickly turned into a birdie-fast, as I quickly felt like the guy who was late for a nice chicken dinner and missed out on all of it. Set up my boy Dave “You’re a Blue Water Fowl” Herron portred to an easy win. SkyBlueBen Art Vandelay inflames47 @whoeveriskeepingscore Rd 1: -5 Stumbling onward!

Trickle to the Bar Round 2 - Fox Hunting The birdie-fast continues. Struggled mightily against the combo of in-between-clubs distances and gusty breezes, and was staring down +3 through 15, and facing the OB sea that is 16. Completely F’ed. Then the golf totems smiled down on me, giving me birds on the feisty 16 and friendly 17, before allowing a 45 foot eagle to find its nest on 18. Given Ashton’s Ashton Fox history of hot/cold play, this one could be an interesting struggle of titans. Art Vandelay inflames47 SkyBlueBen @isanybodylistening Rd 2: -1 Edit: I’ve been informed I’m playing Paul B sid snott, not Foxy…

I've just noticed that this week's event is the "Vietnam Open". I know of a much more appropriate course to hold this at than Windurra! 😉 Bac Son
