For the next 3 weeks Danny xxdannyxxo will be subbing for CF CGib2 on Gin'll Fix It.  Using their current scoring averages, Danny will carry a +3 per round.  The scores he posts will be scored as 3 higher on hi Americas rounds and an additional stroke will be added on the three hardest holes due to handicap for RoW rounds and the OFTR.  Captains involved during this three week period:  lessangster  Art Vandelay  Bear  thetaffman

The implications for CF's absence in the BBB are still being addressed.  Once this is ironed out we will post in the forum.

Hello Friends! Jim Nantz back again in season 10 to bring you results from week 3. Close battles defined week 2 and we’re looking to see if the table will begin to take shape as we approach the halfway point. Let’s get out to the action starting with The Americas Tour

Match 1: Hobgoblins vs Fireballers
Hobgoblins come in atop the table taking on the Fireballers who find themselves near the bottom. It would be a quick start for Hobgoblins as they took the opening match of day 1. Fireballers bounced back to end the day getting a point on the board with a draw to close. Hobgoblins continued to put the pressure on to start day 2 again taking the opening match. But once again Fireballers would bounce back to take full points to close the day. This one heads to the beach with Hobgoblins leading 5-3

Match 2: Bear Necessities vs Buzz’n Boozers
Bear Necessities come in a couple points off the pace facing the Buzz’n Boozers who are looking to get their season turned around. Necessities would come out swinging on the opening day with a dominant win. The Boozers would bounce back to close the day however taking the second match. Necessities would bounce back on day 2 taking both matches going away and this one heads to the beach with Necessities up 6-2.

Match 3: Eye of the Beerholder vs Gin’ll Fix It
Eye of the Beerholder looked to get their season turned around and rise up from the bottom. Their opponents Gin’ll Fix It looked to improve upon their middle of the table positioning. The Beerholders would start off strong taking the opening match. However Gin’ll Fix It would bounce back to close the day and draw the match back level. The Beerholders would steal the momentum back on day 2 however as they took both matches in dominant fashion to take a 6-2 lead to the beach.

Match 4: Double D vs Rum Raiders
A middle of the table battle between Double D and Rum Raiders saw both teams looking to improve their standing in the table. It would be the Raiders striking first as they took the opener easily. Double D would fight back to close the day though with a dominant victory of their own. Double D would continue the run of dominance into day two easily taking the opener to inch out in front. The Raiders wouldn’t die however and they bounced back to level the match on their way to the beach.

JN: What an exciting start to the week. Let’s move overseas to the Rest of the World Tour

Match 1: Hobgoblins vs Fireballers
The Hobgoblins continued to put the squeeze on the Fireballers at the beach with a pair of dominant wins on day 3 to put them on the brink of an all out win. Fireballers would need nothing short of a miracle to pull out the win. Unfortunately for them, that miracle never came to be as Charlie ended it in the opening match of day 4. Each team would add on 3 points coming to the finish but this one was all Hobgoblins, 14-6.

Match 2: Bear Necessities vs Buzz’n Boozers
Necessities kept the pressure on at the beach taking the opening match of the day. The Boozers would bounce back to close the day and keep their hopes alive taking the second match of day 3. Needing everything to go their way, the Boozers set off to start day 4 on the right foot with Sean taking the opening match. Tomi and Marc would win the next two matches to give the Boozers the improbably lead heading into the final match. But it would be Carol coming through in the clutch for Necessities with a dominant performance to draw the match back level. This one ends tied, 10-10

Match 3: Eye of the Beerholder vs Gin’ll Fix It
The Beerholders kept the pedal down on the beach as they took the opening day 3 match in a tight one. Gin’ll Fix It would bounce back once again to keep themselves alive in the match squeezing out a win to close day 3. It would come down to day 4 and Beerholders would secure the draw early with a win from Dave to open the day. Gin’ll Fix It would start to rally with wins from Chuck and Paul to pull within 2. It would come down to the final match of the day which saw Mark win in a tight one over Michael to secure the win for the Beerholders, 12-8.

Match 4: Double D vs Rum Raiders
The tight affair continued on the beach with Double D taking the opener on day 3. The Raiders would bounce right back though to level the match once more heading into the final day. With the teams refusing to be separated, the opening match of day 4 was also a draw. Marcus would edge the Raiders out front with a win in the second match of the day. As one might expect, the match was leveled once again after Ken took the 3rd match. It would come down to Les and Bova to decide it and it would be Bova taking the match and giving the Raiders an 11-9 victory.

Upon further review...for the OFTR there are two courses that are not handicap rated.  Therefore we will adjust on the OFTR averages between Danny and CF of 22 and 26, so Danny will have a 4 point deficit to start each OFTR.

For the BBB, we will sub Danny in for CF as we have determined that next season's draft will be based on the full season Pub Crawl averages instead of the the final BBB standings.  CF will resume the spot when he returns.

Got me an 8 hole par train. And just when i thought i'm about to achieve something really special today my putt on the last dropped for a bird. 

And I had the toon take a surprise shot when my controller stopped responding and i thought it be a great idea to wiggle the stick to see what's up.

And also my game crashed a few holes later. It just crashed. No warning, one moment i'm looking at the fairway and the next moment i'm wondering why Windows could not have picked something nicer for today's desktop pic. No warning, no sound, no message, just, bang. 1st time ever in over 300 hours of pain and suffering my game, or any other game come to think of it, actually crashed. Maybe Bill just got bored.

The rest was just rubbish in its purest form.

Hate to say it Marc but even more rubbish is on the way in Boozers general direction. 8 straight pars, I'm the Train Engineer for a reason, bird on the 9th,back 9 just dung, I'm also The Wooden Spoon holder for a reason. Only played one round and decided to hide the controller for at least a day, you never know, it may find some well needed magic in the bottom drawer for the rest of the rounds.
Now that I've spanked myself enough(verbally or textually), I have to say we have done surprisingly well thus far as we have managed to be as a Team in the middle, it could be worse so to speak.

Bova's attempt at R1, no Hootenany at Kootanei, was doing nicely until the 12th par 3 over water, up a club aim 5 yards right get a big fast miss the rocks into the water, next one same club move 5 more yards right get a big fast clip rocks 2 yards right of previous shot into the water, third tee shot same club aim another 5 yards right get a normal fast lands and settles 3 foot above the hole, why didn't do that the first time!!!!!
