Members of the community and Staff,
Over the past couple of days I kind of get the feeling I've over-worn my welcome. All I see here are a lot of the same folks, over and over that kind of dominate the forum and some that are not very welcoming to new members that might have differing opinions. Things got kind of got out of whack for me as I had a confrontation with some staff in how they addressed an OP of mine and even though I have apologized for it in the spirit of good relationd and have received what I consider an apology the whole experience has soured my experience here. Hopefully the senior staff can learn something from the experience. I find a fair amount of responses to my posts to be either negative or discouraging instead of supportive and encouraging and these have just diminished drastically over the past 24 hours. The same things can be said for tgctours.com course review process and how the process handles new designers and beginning designers. The more I'm here the more it feels like an exclusive club than an inclusive one. So I won't be finishing the most current active Champions A tour I am currently signed up for. i just tried to play it but I felt generally nauseous and dispirited while playing. That's not why I came here in the first place.
As time goes by I find I cannot really come to terms with the way the senior staff handled my case and even more disconcerted by their general disregard and trivialization of their offense and I'll be better off elsewhere, so you can thank the senior staff for my departure and partially for how some of the junior staff has been unresponsive and unappreciative of any efforts by me to improve things here on the forums and for tgctours.com. So either congratulate them or castigate them for my departure depending on your pint of view. I find the senior staff to be a bit authoritarian and not very inclusive. that's just been my experience. Any members can look me up in the "Official HB Forums" if they need anything from me or just feel like continuing the relationship. My ID there is Stonecomet.
In closing I would say if the Senior Staff continues on it's current course of reactionary, insular and frankly authoritarian leadership tgctours.com will be a great place for the current core members and staff to play with themselves. If they are really looking to expand and grow and be more inclusive then a shift in leadership style is needed in my opinion. So if forcing me out or waiting me out was the goal, you've won, or have you?
Good Luck to all,
-Mike
