I have done a little searching and haven't been successful. Anyone have a clue if there's any lidar data anywhere for Hong Kong? Specifically looking for Clearwater Bay Golf Club.

I havent looked for HK data but I have searched for mainland China, Singapore and a few other SE Asia courses but it seems that LiDAR data is either non-existent or highly protected. I had reached out to a lot of people on LinkedIn who were in those countries and seemed to be experts or at least familiar with LiDAR (either working in the field or in academia) and gt quite a few replies but mostly confirming that it either doesn't exist or that it cant be obtained. Quite a few offered LiDAR mapping service but it would be prohibitively expensive. I would suspect that HK would be similar to China. |
