“Ballyowen Golf Club (Li)” - situated in Hamburg, NJ, is ranked the top public course in all of New Jersey. Built in 1998, this 250-acre plateau, Irish heathland-style course was designed by architect Roger Rulewich. Between TGC 2019 and 2K21, I have about 400 hours work invested in pain staking detail to recreate this course true to form and it represents 100% of the topology of the real course. For comparison, please see the real course flyover on YouTube -

Looks great! I'm so glad you cant lose your ball in the long grass in this game, because that grass looks like it eats golf balls for breakfast

cahockeyrw played all default settings black tees pin 1 TGCT difficulty settings What a seriously immaculate course. Greens were a great speed for their slopes (pin1 on hole 7,12 was BRUTAL though). Bunkers were perfect. Planting was done really well! I think you really did this course justice! I 4-putted twice and 3-putt multiple times for a round of 74 (with 8 birdies!) Only note might be the greens are still a tad bit too hard to play and were in orange slopes on default speed but otherwise perfect!

Thanks for playing Q ! It's a fairly short course, so have it offset a little with tougher pins. All elevations per LiDAR are untouched, so you get to play the true 100% topology. Those are essentially the greens in real-life. I appreciate you giving it a run & also your feedback !

Glad to see this one's been ported in. Great memories of playing the real thing 20 some years ago. Shot an outta nowhere 76 in constant 20+ mph winds. And the year before my brother David Richardson shot a 68 from the tips. At the time it was the course record.

Those are essentially the greens in real-life. I appreciate you giving it a run & also your feedback ! This course might be my favorite and looks like it's the most "real golf course I'd play in person" But I have to say the trend of pins on orange/reg really needs to go away. You can of course do whatever you want but I completely disagree with the idea you have to defend good scores especially on a lidar course. I doubt very much they'd put pins in those locations. I had a 3 foot putt with 2 feet of sideways break earlier today Again, this is master level work but some of those pins would not be legal locations in real life. That said, it's still my top 2 or 3 courses in the game, so thanks for making it. I just feel like a designers job is to make good holes, players are going to rip the courses score wise, that really shouldn't be in someone's mind in my view. The immersion just goes away and it becomes a luck fest sometimes.
