Twitter link works fine. The course looks like it's off to a good start. That is one of the better ways of using a split fairway by pairing it with a lion's mouth green. The planting looks nice and natural, I would just consider pulling it back away from the playable surfaces in the 3rd picture. Even just a buffer of a couple of yards will allow a rolling ball to stop before it goes into the cabbage.

As mentioned in the main thread, I’ll be streaming a playthrough of a beta from each rookie course. You’ll get lots of feedback from a judge’s perspective. I’ll only do one per contestant - given that it’s only nine, would you like me to play this beta or are you planning on another? Happy either way, just let me know.

Im not a golfer Im learning what is common for course design like keeping plants away from playing areas and strategy for holes. im really enjoying design and meeting the people in the community they are great!! |

For someone who's not a golfer, there was an awful lot of good stuff in there. Keep it up - look at the tutorials from CrazyCanuck, myself and others and just enjoy the process  |

Some updated tee views some need planting still. its a par 72-7,128 yards front 9 plays longer then the back 9. Lots of planting still too do, made changes that ben suggested. xbox really slows down the more you get done but im sure ill make the deadline.

That’s looking great so far! How much more do you think you’ve got to do? Ill need another 20 hours id say. Im doing it on Xbox and the more i plant the slower it gets. PC upgrade coming in the new year for sure!!!! But im still enjoying it tons. |

Planting is soooo slow on PS4 with the new game that I'm intentionally going for minimalist courses so I don't die of boredom waiting for the next page of the tree menu to load. I got to a 12 count this morning from the time I clicked "place objects" until I made to to the second page of my planted trees menu. I don't remember it being nearly this bad on TGC19. |

@mctrees02 Its one of the reasons I do hole by hole. I lay down 2 holes, then plant those and then just do a rough routing for the rest of the course and go design and plant hole by hole. Just find it breaks it up a bit more. It's slow but I dont mind too much as I'm usually listening to a podcast or half watching something on my phone.
Good to see you're nearly there on your course. I'm 9 holes into a new course.
