Hi TGC Tours Found this link which I found interesting. Having grown up playing Leaderboard Golf, Mean 18, the Links series of golf games and Tiger Woods thought it might be interesting to see others thoughts on some of the games in this list. Looking forward to your comments! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_golf_video_gamesCheers

Played a lot of Links and TW.
Really wish we had a Case’s Ladder kind of thing for PGA2k. That was a fun way to get into some online matches. No meters or putt lines though. I can’t play the current matchmaker system bc the onscreen stuff it is too much help, too easy. It’s more like robot golf. Personally it’s too distracting as well. Way TMI lol.

Still play links 2004 on my xbox 360 from the old xbox days,Still to me one of the best console golf games ever...
Also loved Jack nicklaus 6 GBC on pc....real class game that always think of that game when they play at sherwood CC like they are this week.
My old eyes might be going could not see Custom play Golf, don't think i ever played more than 9 holes on that game worst one ever.

The matchmaking screws my game up! I swear I am better on master than I am on pro because I can use the fast/slow to my advantage.

Sid Meier's Sim Golf was a complete blast when I was younger. Isometric course designer game that really had a lot of charm

Sid Meier's Sim Golf was a complete blast when I was younger. Isometric course designer game that really had a lot of charm Man I wish I could get this game on my Windows 10 computer, what a great game!! There is a new game called Golftopia that is trying to be a more advanced futuristic version of SimGolf, and I hear it isn't the worst. I have been thinking about getting it.

mvpmanatee it hasn't been updated or anything and it is not available to buy so it's effectively abandonware. With that in mind you can now download it for free from the abandonware site but it takes a LOT of tinkering to make it work on windows 10. I got it to work! not sure if you really want to jump through all those hoops. As for Golftopia that game plays more as a fantasy golf course designer with all kinds of weird sci-fi elements. Not my cup of tea but it still sounds fun

i was going through some files and folders on my computer this morning and saw a Links folder. i fired it up (it's been probably 3 years since i played it) and played a few holes at Wade Hampton... the last course i had played... i used powerstroke and it was more fun than i expected, actually. i did a search and sure enough, Links Corner and LSPN are still going. there were new courses published today, in fact.
kinda trippy. i haven't gotten 2k21 yet and i'm actually tempted to go back to a 17-year-old game....
anyone still playing it?

I remember designing courses in an Jack Nicklaus course designer in the early 90s when I was in middle school. Also I played the hell out of PGA tour around that time w/ Sawgrass, Avalon, etc

It brought back some great memories of playing old computer golf games like Leaderboard Golf, Mean 18, and the Links series. Those games were classic! And who could forget Tiger Woods Golf, right? I'm definitely curious to see what others think about the games on that list. It's always fun to reminisce about the good old days of gaming. By the way, speaking of old computer games, I remember hunting for cheap windows keys back in the day just so I could keep playing all those awesome games.
