Hello tech support, Having a good day I hope. I am having issues with editing some of my posts. Usually it is the OP sometimes it is others. So the net affect is, I am able to edit some of my posts but not others. Is this a system wide issue? Not sure. Might be just affecting my posts only. Could you please look into this and provide a response? Thank You, -Mike

Nope. We decided to not allow editing of post 5 min after posting. You should not be able to edit a post someone has responded to.

That's actually quiet common on forums. At least on those that I've been active on (and that have been a lot). And it's good like that I think, Tim stated the reason why.

The timeout is new to me, sure there might be other sites that use a timer I just never remember seeing one. Mainly it was a change so it surprised me. No worries, I don't mind at all. Now though if we post a thread like the Course Guidelines I am trying to develop for young designers to go by I'll have to re-post instead of going in and updating the OP. I also understand why the change was made as I was probably somewhat responsible for why the change was made. Really no issues with that either. Just a bit of a surprise in the execution that's all. -Mike
