After about a month of working on and off on this I have published my second course, inspired in part by Pete Dye's Oak Tree National in Oklahoma. Enjoy the round and any feedback is appreciated. Welcome to Dye Creek Club! A private members club in Choctaw, Oklahoma that is home to a par 72 golf course inspired by the bunker design of the late, great, Pete Dye. This course sits in a small, heavily foliaged, valley with 2 water channels that come into play right in the middle of the course. This escape to the woods provides a thrilling round for golfers of all ages and skill levels. Large strip bunkers on many holes and funky bunkers with small grass mounds inside of them are part of the uniqueness of this great course and provide some incredible looks off the tee. Memberships are now available so feel free to contact us and get your Dye Creek Club experience underway! Posted below are some beautiful aerials of the course and the course scorecard. Hole 1: Par 4 - 500 yards Hole 2: Par 4 - 406 yards Hole 4: Par 3 - 222 Hole 5: Par 4 - 418 yards Hole 9: Par 5 - 594 yards (clubhouse and other facilities pictured) Hole 11: Par 5 - 564 yards Hole 12: Par 4 - 370 yards Hole 13: Par 3 - 164 yards Hole 14: Par 4 - 447 yards Hole 18: Par 4 - 413 yards Scorecard

Really good job. Colors actually look better in the game than in these pics. I am partial to this style course. Played Pin Set 1 a couple holes were a bit severe around the cups. Really good looking effort.

Played this last night and thoroughly enjoyed my round. Surprised there has not been more plays at Dye Creek Club. Great colour palette and lighting which created a great vibe. No heavy shadowing with a low sun inclination which prevents from adjusting the light if desired, i.e. playing a round at noon. Nothing fancy about this just a solid design. No planting for the sake of planting, e.g. out of place windmills or windfarms. Another one of my favourite fictional courses that plays "real". A bit of a hidden gem. Giving it a bump as it deserves a little more attention IMO. Well done boooner!

Why does a Choctaw club have a St Louis area code? 🤷♂️😉

Looks like a very realistic design. I could see Dye doing that for sure.

You also go by queefboxhero? That's great news! I posted about how much I liked The Corolla Club and then mayhem broke loose. This also played real but a fictional design. No overplanting, no silly windmills, windfarms or out of place waterfalls. Just a great colour palette and lighting used well. I have Carolina Causeway on my list to play. I did play The Preserve and Quarry but didn't enjoy that as much as Corolla and Dye Creek. Keep up the good work.

My apologies. I was thinking Carolina Causeway. I'll be sure to check out Carolina Players. I do remember seeing this when you were designing. The concept sounded interesting. Thanks!
