Jimmy it seems to me that the Lie % in bunkers is almost always better than heavy rough, except perhaps for plugged lies in the sand. So it is tough to compare the two. I do know that there is much less penalty shown for hitting a 4W out of sand compared to heavy rough, which is like IRL. Are there plugged lies in the sand? How do you know if your lie is plugged? Does it show you visually or are you assuming based on a very low % like say a 60% lie? It does really look like a plugged lie. When you use the follow cam to watch the ball, and it hits and sticks I have always assumed that was "plugged", especially on a slope. |
