I'm one of the many that got 2k for the first time so I am brand new to all of this but really enjoying it...I signed up for the beer league but the variance bw the high/low scores is so large; I originally thought that was the best landing spot for me and for the time being I still think it is as I have not quite dove into Masters difficulty yet. However what would be the best step to eventually move up to the CC tours? Do I need to withdraw from Beer League and try the weekly qualifiers? And if so which society would I need to join to do that?
Any info on transitioning from Beer to CC during the season would be appreciated, or should I just wait till next season.

When you wish to try and qualify for the other tours, just go to your profile and uncheck the Beer League box. Then register for the next available qualifying event. The qualifying event is listed in the CC society. Since owning the game, I've only played on the Master level. Had a disaster, for me, in the 1st open qualifier. Decided to opt out of the last round to work on my game. After a week of practicing (game skills much improved) I decided to put my revamped skills to the test. Signed up for the Beer league as a means to refine my course management skills and approach shots. I'll probably play two to three events then attempt to qualify for the CC tours. |

There actually is no "unchecking" of the Beer League box as it disappears. Click on theregister button in your profile on the main site and join the CC Challenge society online. Then play the weekly event which is the same course as the CC Challenge.
EAch seek there are a certain number of cards available. For instance about 130 I have heard this week to fill the ranks top to bottom. If you qualify you will be put into a tour.
IF you play Beer League after you have a tour card I BELIEVE your tour card will be revoked

DAMN - this is why I gave up 2 weeks ago but would have gotten in - I was reading the wrong week. Well - THAT is disappointing AGAIN! Thanks

Someone put me in this damned league and hence although I am registered to qualify it takes no notice of my scores. What the hell are we supposed to do?? |
