Epic M/C for me, could not come to terms with this course. Nothing wrong with it, was all me. +9 at the cut, finished all 4 at +14. First CC event with all 4 rounds over par. I need a hug and COVID won't let that happen!
Onward.

Ended up -14 for the tourny. Happy to make my first cut and top 50 finish here in week one of CC-D.
I enjoyed the course, it was fun to play the mix of easy fairways but challenging greens. I certainly left quite a few strokes out there with my putter...
Looking forward to next week!

Made the cut and my middling finish is good enough to wipe one red from my slate. Here's hoping I do the same next event, maybe a little better?
Onward!

Sitting at tied for 12th after 2 rounds. Happy to make consecutive cuts and be battling toward the top.
Hoping to finish in top 10 or 15, maybe even receive a promo mark.

Another M/C with a +2 and even start. In rounds that only count for the Dirtbags I rebounded -10 and -7. Same course I guess? Will be interesting how many reds I add to the one I have.
New Years Eve here in HKSAR, here is hoping for a much better 2021 for all.
Onward!

well...finished up R3 and R4.
Really struggled to make birdie in R3... I think I had about 5 or 6 putts for par less than 2ft. Just could not get my approach shots close... really mis-judged the greens / roll-out.
Bounced back in R4 with a 62 bogey free round that looks to be good enough for a top 20 finish and a promo mark. Ended at -22.

Took until R4 to really get a feel for this course. -7 total through 3 rounds (made the cut by 1 stroke), then -7 in R4 to finish -14. Took one double bogey in R1, but other than that it was just a lot of missing greens and chipping up close for a 1 putt par. No marks, but nothing impressive. Haven't been playing much outside of my tour rounds with the holiday and year end at work, so I guess making the last two cuts in spite of that is something to take away. Probably need to tweak my club selection a bit.

Finally made it to CC-D! Started on E and just couldn't put consecutive tournaments together.
This course sets up well, a lot of good scoring opportunities.

Hi CCDers! Got booted here after a pretty miserable run in C Cubed where I made 3 cuts out of 10. I was going to take a complete break for a bit but I have actually played two events before this, can't help myself! But that is literally all I've played in a month - miraculously made the cut 3 weeks ago, got a demo mark 2 weeks ago and didn't play last week. That's the first TGCT event I've been available for but haven't played since I joined almost 5 years ago Anyway, I think the break has done some good. I played on Friday night with the boys and enjoyed it, and teed this one up tonight and enjoyed it. Loved the course B.Smooth13, and especially loved the 180 greens in round one. It played really well over both the first two rounds and looks great π I had a bit of a slow start in round one but got myself to -6 before a bogey at 18 after I got myself in trouble. Then started the second round with a pretty horrible double before parring every hole up to the 9th. Key was, I kept my head in the game because despite struggling I was having fun, and it then paid off. The birdie at 9 gave me 37 for the outward 9 and I then played possibly my best golf in this game on the back 9, coming home in 28. Happy New Year! 67 and 65 for -12 at the cut, I think that'll be plenty. Good luck all! Onward!

Got in a few practice rounds at this weeks course. -8 is best so far... so that means I'll probably shoot half that when it counts! haaa The course seemed like I should be able to score well. Fairways pretty wide, minus some very strategically placed bunkers. Greens pretty reachable... but for some reason I was having a hard time getting makable birdie putts. Anyway, looking forward to playing R1 and R2 tonight!

Nothing much to write home about in rounds 3 and 4. Round 3 felt like it was there for the taking with the pushed up tees but I failed to take advantage. Seemed to keep getting bad tempo at the worst possible moment and didn't make enough of those mid range putts. Then round 4 I actually played pretty well in the wind for the most part but I think lost a bit of focus towards the end and coasted home a little. Not complaining, first time all season I've shot 4 sub 70 rounds and first time I've got anywhere near the -20's. I've set myself a new marker! 67, 65, 67, 68 for -21 Somewhere around 50th? Thought the course was very good and I really enjoyed the different tees we used. I wish we could have had another round on the faster greens like round 1 because I think that's what those greens were designed for. But I enjoyed it this week Good luck all! Like the man says, Onwards!

So I managed to not muck things up too much, two more good rounds leave at -24, a comfortable finish mid table of those making the cut and once again free of marks whether they green or red. Understand there is another promo event coming soon? Even though it looks like I am in my rightful home I will still play it anyway, cause I do love the game. Onward!
