is there first off any way to delete a course on xbox1? I created a course when I got the game didn't know anything it's horrible and should be gone. If someone plays it they may think hey this guy sucks at designing and not try my new courses I've worked countless hours on. Second is there any way to edit a course without creating multiple courses of the same name on my newest course there are a few visuals I missed dosent affect the courses play just as a designer when you've put 48 hours plus you want your work perfect I just need to level land in three spots for visual any help in either of these categories would be amazing. Thanks everyone in advance this is an awesome community. Cheers vesiah matauss

Once a course is published to the servers, there isn't a way to delete it or edit it. HB has made it that way because if people were able to delete their created courses, other people who may have played those courses would lose their stats or records. You can make changes to the course and publish it under a new name, but at the moment that is the only option.

Thanks for the tip on the changing names. And that makes sense about the course deleting. To bad there was not a way to keep the players stats and still delete the course but made me learn that next course I make check things a little closer before clicking publish. Thanks for the help cheers. Also feel free to play my two good courses eagle hills national golf club and burning woods golf club. Any help on how I could make better work would always be helpful. Thanks again.

Thanks again. Hey vesiah, Most experienced designers will release their course a few time under bogus names for play-testing. Something as simple as "Name Of Course BETA". And you can also go offline and go to play a round, cycle to unpublished courses and you can play test your own course in windy conditions. And of course you can play test holes as you are designing and use the shot reverse to play positions over and over. Also remember that you can drop the ball wherever the marker is to play test certain positions and areas. Hope this helps, -Mike

I'm far away from being an experienced designer, but I would do something like "BETA v0.1 - Name of Course" (to take your example). Why? Simply because no one would ever search for "BETA" in the beginning, apart from those that wanna explicitly test that particular course. And when you've finalized that course, people would only find the "end product" when using the (ingame) search. That would look better on the one hand, and also increase usability on the other hand. But that's just a suggestion!

Thanks guys for the tips. That should really help me in the future. It's gonna be tough to design though knowing in may we get Asian plus tropical cart paths out of bounds and a lot more. But for future not thank you. The good thing is its me being very picky there are no shot problems on the courses. One has a bridge to close to a green and I wish I put more break and speed in it greens (eagle hills national golf club). And on my other course I tried running strips of fairway from the tee to fairway start I changed the position length on three holes and it just made the slopes look not so smooth otherwise I'm semi happy with it (burning woods golf club). Reason I say semi happy to is always have more ideas and I'm getting stronger with the tools. Thank you for all the help it is very much appreciated. Cheers vesiah matauss.
