When I open my course to edit, Objects Meter reads 32%
After first edit, every time, (move a tree for example; the Objects Meter drops to 9.9%
should I be worried about that? thinking about which is the real value...

Once you plant your first item, that's the real object value I believe. I know when I load mine up it starts off different vs. once I start planting

do you tend to run out of memory or objects first?
looks like my memory is going to cap before objects at this rate...

Objects unless you're going really crazy. Put it this way, I'm currently on 10 pages of trees and yet to do a clubhouse and I still think I'll be fine with memory. Memory is basically a one time use thing for the game loading that non-theme item into the overall memory of the course file. You can then use it as much as you want and memory won't increase. Object meter is how many items overall that you've incorporated.
So let's say I add in a Cypress tree. Memory goes up maybe 0.5% for the game adding that item into the file for the first time and object meter likely doesn't budge. If I plant another 1000 of them, the object meter will rise, but memory will stay the same as I've already loaded that item. If I add a different type of Cypress tree, the memory will rise again to add that new object in.

Memory should not be an issue as long as you're not trying to design a course for Dr. Seuss

One my courses maxed out object & memory, I was 70% on file size too, not even lidar to boot. How i managed it, i everything individually planted by doing that it does allow more plant head room, downsize it takes months to plant.
Im also finding some 2019 objects dont take as much memory others still not optimised take a bit out meter. I took all bushes of one type out dropped my meter 13% (great new feature for giving ports an upgrade but very dangerous at least hb put warning incase accidental selecting), i wonder if some ports causing weird issues, As cant believe it contributed 13%.

I hate to resurrect this, but my course objects meter hit 100% (but only shows 100 when i load it) as soon as I plant something the meter returns to 79% ish
reassure me again that the 79% ish is the real number...

If you can still plant, it's the real number
