I'm not finding Shakespeare too bad apart from a few holes.

Didn't have problems at Shakespeare... yet. Guess that's gonna come during the tournament then.

Now happening on any heavily planted course (including Magnolia :-()
If the update doesn't fix it may have to look into moving to PC

So it's on heavily planted courses? Well, i think so. Lemme put it this way, at Lengua last week i had no such issues, at Isla Madeleine the week before i had no such issues. Now the Shakespeare is unplayable and Magnolia is very hit and miss. It's game breaking

It hasn't gotten unplayable for me yet, but it has gotten worse in the past month.
I'm really hoping the new update helps smooth it out.

For me at least (PS4 Player), this has become a serious problem. I first noticed it during the Joburg Open, but the course was still very much playable. It made Bison Run unplayable for me, it took forever to load and then every other shot was 92-93%, and i'm having the same problem with the new versions of the Shakespeare. At time it gets so jerky it feels like i have no control, and on some holes i find it literally impossible to hit a single shot at 100%. I can hit it 100% 99 times out of 100 on every other kind of course, so pretty sure it's not me So 1/ Does this affect anyone else? 2/ What can i do to stop it? (Depth of field is already off and my connection is good) Really frustrating me as i love the course and the new setup but if it's going to be like this i may as well not bother Yes it does. ME! I used to play in four tournaments as i'm sure know. Not any more. I have had it. The only one I will play in now is TGCT. And may not be playing in this one too much longer. And when EA comes out, that will be my main game. This game is so bad on my machine as you describe. Not worth the time or aggravation. And damm sure wouldn't have considered the DLC. Too bad to. Could have been such a great game.

Now happening on any heavily planted course (including Magnolia :-() Magnolia? Really? I don't think that's a course that is heavily planted... but I might be wrong. Just throwing out an idea loud: Did you ever try to totally reinstall the game? Was thinking about this myself, but didn't find the time yet...

Magnolia is maxed out on the planting meter, for what its worth. I hit the max halfway through planting the 18th hole and had to creatively delete some stuff just to finish.

For real? Never noticed that when playing it several times now. Seems like I'm not paying to much attention to the things around me... Thank you very much for the informing!

Magnolia is ok post update, getting the odd 97-99% but if i slam the stick forward hard enough i can get 100% most of the time.
The countryside courses are still murder though, and IMHO we shouldn't even be using them

Oh, and I also went back to Trump National where i had no % issues in the WGC and had the same issues as the Shakespeare, even though it's considerably less planted (I think)
Bottom line, the countryside theme is screwed on PS4
