This wonderful course is located in the Canadian Rockies. Located on a great plot of land in the view of mountains and a massive lake. This is a round you will not forget about. A large Par 72 course that shoots 7241 yrds from the tips and a second tee that shoots 6732 yrds that helps with beginner golfers. Located around cottages that you can spend the weekend at while you play many rounds of golf at Acadia Club. This course is here for a relaxing weekend with your friends or just a one day trip that you won’t forget.
Hole 1: Par 4 overlooking a great view of mountain style homes. A tough second shot can land you close for an easy birdie to start off your round.
Hole 2: Par 4 dog leg right. A long shot protected by two trees you can avoid. Approach shot to a beautiful uphill green.
Hole 3: Par 5 dog leg right with an open tee shot for an easy tee off or a challenging over a creek and around trees to be able to get a shot to hit the green in 2. Many layup spots available for conservative golfers.
Hole 4: Par 3 that you don’t want to miss long on. A pond behind the green with houses in the back. A good shot will lead to a nice score on this hole.
Hole 5: Par 5 with a split fairway with trees down the middle. Leading to an uphill green that can be reachable with a long drive. Stay right for a conservative play or risk it left beside a creek for distance.
Hole 6: Par 4 with a simple drive but the approach shot is the challenge. An elevated green with a rock wall surrounding. An accurate second shot can lead to a nice score.
Hole 7: Par 3 feature hole that can take a breath away. A green tucked in a rock formation that needs accuracy for a nice landing. Many hazards in play that can change a round.
Hole 8: Par 4 with another split fairway. A great downhill shot can lead to an easy approach. If not you may be looking at a tough score on this hole.
Hole 9: Par 5 looking back into the clubhouse with a great straightforward tee shot. With wind on your back there is an eagle opportunity on this hole.
Hole 10: Par 4 that is reachable for long drivers off the tee. This shot is overlooking a huge cavern that will make you take a second look at a layup shot.
Hole 11: Par 4 with a long elevation tee shot. A great view of the mountains up close and one of the best tee shots on the course.
Hole 12: Par 3 that the green is protected by the creek all the way around. A nice accurate shot is needed for a birdie on this hole.
Hole 13: Par 4 that makes you think. A long bomb tee shot gets you distance but a short layup can also work very well in your favour for a second shot into the green.
Hole 14: Par 4 that is 1/2 of the iconic holes. With house located on the right with a great access to water. Be careful to stay clear of them.
Hole 15: Par 4 that is second half of the iconic holes. Again with houses on the right. Make sure you take a second to look at the great lake and cottages on the course.
Hole 16: Par 5 and into the final stretch. A great lookout on the right side of the fairway with a historical lighthouse on the point. A par 5 that you will have to take a second look at the decision to go for the eagle or not.
Hole 17: Par 3 island green that is located just off the left side of the lake. A rock shoulder of the green can help you feel safe about keeping your shot on the island.
Hole 18: Par 4 once again heading back into the clubhouse. You can take a view of the spectacular foundation before the green. With another elevation change of a green into a giant rock wall. A second shot that can help you make a nice easy put to close out your round.

The landscaping, views, and overall vibe with mountains here are are spot on. Some of the best background/theme work I've seen in this game.
My only criticism is the course area felt sort of flat compared to the massive background mountains. Not necessarily the actual holes but your dead space in your heavy rough area.
Awesome job here though.

Really nice course - and lots of good rock and planting work. A bit of the Arctic Fury school of design with your stamp on it, and that's only a good thing.

Hi there. Think that you’ve put together an enjoyable course! I really liked the planting, especially with the rocks. The one area that I feel can be improved on is hole strategy. I didn’t get the sense that I had many options on holes and that there was generally just one straightforward play. This is super hard to do and isn’t meant to be a harsh criticism just one area for improvement. If improved you’d have a really nice course on your hands! Also, a few of the pins felt like they were really close to orange/yellow slopes which some people may say is unfair.
Nice job overall! Enjoyed my round!

Thanks for playing and the review! Was meant to be more of a straight forward course. Working on the playable aspect now that I have the planting down to where I like it. Thanks for the tips though I appreciate it

Just gave Acadia a run... Really enjoyed it Sluggie thought it was planted really good, and I enjoyed a good planted course...
I definitely caught the Artic vibe throughout...
Had a nice flow throughout and for whatever reason the little house on the little peninsula in that lake, just made me smile.... I thought that was a very nice touch... yeah Im a dork
Ha ha... great work... Keep designing
