Dunno if you've seen but the interviews with James May are kinda hilarious.
Before hearing the news...
After hearing the news...
"Now... If you'll excuse me I'm off to write the eBay listing for my Ferrari"

A new "not Top Gear but really Top Gear with another name" on Sky or similar maybe?

Heh. Those are genius. Sounds to me like all 3 will be off. A new "not Top Gear but really Top Gear with another name" on Sky or similar maybe? Yeah. You can tell from the James May interview that he doesn't think that Top Gear is a go-er without all 3 of them and I wouldn't be surprised if wherever Clarkson ends up other two will follow. I've actually a feeling, however, they might end up on Channel 5 here in the UK. Fifth Gear, Channel 5's Top Gear rival, stalled out in 2011 because Top Gear beat it into submission... So I could maybe see Channel 5 starting that back up, if not with the 3 of them in it Clarkson at least and maybe amalgamating it with "The Classic Car" show they have on now. They have Quentin Wilson of old BBC Top Gear hosting that and Bruno Senna, Ayrton Senna's nephew, doing Top Gear style Power Laps in old classics. They had Tiff Needell of old Top Gear on their books at Fifth Gear as well. So you could potentially see Channel 5 running Fifth Gear but with the entire old BBC Top Gear line-up. Imagine, however, if they had Clarkson, Hammond and May hosting it and doing fun stuff, with Quentin on the show giving his usual second hand car buying advice, Tiff Needell doing bits about old race cars and Bruno Senna turning power laps as the "Stig"... I'd watch that!

I'd watch that! Absolutely. Best of both worlds

Even my wife watches Top Gear with me because of the chemistry of that group and their shenanigans. Although, I must admit that things were getting a bit predictable with some of their antics. Still, it's my absolute favorite TV series.
