Now accepting tee times, stay-and-plays, and luxury real estate, Golden Isles Beach Club in Coastal Georgia, USA, is open for business. This course arises out of Atlantic Inn & Beach Club from the previous game. I saved about 8 holes and the plot, and revamped and re-routed about 10 holes. I also took advantage of the new ability to blend tree and plant styles, and I replanted the entire golf course in a mix of palms, pines, and whispy coastal beach grasses and dunes. Par 72, 7400 from the tips. 5 tee sets and 4 pin sets. Very extreme, undulating greens where playing away from the hole is often more beneficial than playing right at it. Dial the green speeds down from default for a slightly easier experience. I hope you find this an immersive, thrilling, thought-provoking course that you'll want to play more than once. As with all of my courses, this one is best enjoyed without scout cam.

Fantastic new version, love the new colors, very vibrant along with the contours of the greens, false fronts, back stops, fast greens !!! Felt like I was playing a beach version of Winged Foot, just loved every minute of it. Plenty of places to drive it safely, places to bail out on the approach, but also scoring opportunities especially on the par 5's along with the challenge of everything mentioned prior and warned by the designer. Just go play this one, be patient, enjoy the atmosphere and take what the course gives you and I think you will score fine. Thanks to the designer for this incredible update.

Thank you for the play and the comment. I agree that the par 5s are pretty scoreable (with the exception of maybe 18 into a strong headwind and 3 if you are on the front trying to putt all the way up to the top/back). The pin in the bottom of the swale on 6 (Pin 1) is maybe my favorite pin on the entire course.

Fickett is back??? Fickett is back!!! Ability to cross-pollinate themes has given me some new life in this game. I was so frustrated with never quite having one turn out the way I was envisioning. I've got a ton of ideas that I always wanted to make but stalled because they came up short visually. Hoping that I'll have the time and patience to make a few more. I've got an Irish links, an English heathland, a "Montana project" (think Rock Creek Cattle Company), and a couple others in the hopper...trying to figure out which one I'll be inspired to work on next.

Played it last night thoroughly enjoyed it throughout
absolutely loved the greensites plenty and I mean plenty of movement, but not unfair at all
Found myself playing some shots draws and fades to some of the pins and I really enjoyed finding a way to get em close
Great work Job

This is beautiful and fun! I’m only on hole 3 and had to stop to say how cool the course looks. The ability to mix theme elements is super cool and obviously is gonna open up for the good course designers to really make unique and new stuff! Hell, it will even help for RCR courses I bet. Super cool work here. Something original and fresh looking!

I know you don't care but the greens take away from a fantastic layout. Got to the second green, came up short, couldn't keep it on the surface on a conservative putt.

Which pin set were you playing, if you remember? Just 1 It's your art, and it's spectacular. Just my preference. Good shots should be rewarded, this turns it into plinko. Again, you know I'm a fan of yours from waaaay back. Just not my thing but obviously many people love it so to hell with me

I appreciate the play and the feedback. I thought pin one on hole 2 was fairly flat, but you know you can never end up in every spot when you're play testing. Glad to see you around, adx.

I gave it another try - may have been a little overwhelmed at all the red. It plays more fair than I originally thought. My bad!

I gave it another try - may have been a little overwhelmed at all the red. It plays more fair than I originally thought. My bad! I went back and forth about toning down the first few greens. They are extreme. They're shocking. They're probably going to make more people quit than play through them. I decided I was ok with that. My philosophy was that if anyone could stick out the first 3 holes, they'd discover that playing towards the biggest slopes, letting them funnel to the hole, is as good a strategy with a wider margin for error than trying to hit it right at the flag. I know this is video game golf and most people will be put off by this (or never even consider it to begin with). I'd like to think really creative players will like it and give it more replay value.

Gday dude. That is one hell of a fun course you have designed, had an absolute ball on it. Keep up the great work.

Gday dude. That is one hell of a fun course you have designed, had an absolute ball on it. Keep up the great work. I'm only 5 minutes in but I LOVED the dramatic reading! I'm so glad you took it with the dose of sarcasm it deserved. Edit: After watching the whole thing and seeing you shoot -6 on the front nine and -4 overall in some brutally windy conditions, I will hold up this video as proof that a little patience and imagination go a long way. I loved watching you think your way around the course. Thanks again.
