So = safely out of competition after 1st week with an opening 90. Playing for pride end up +25 for the week. Looking forward to 2nd week as tuneup for the Qualifying tourneys after cards have been assigned. Of course I get a reprieve with the added Challenge brackets and find myself back in contention. Now I don’t want to play Evangelist because I know that I will play above par and any score I post will put me out of the bottom bracket. Unfortunately I play a practice round and score +1, so I gather my courage and play a tourney round and end up +9 on the round. Now I’m watching the results to see that all the others in my situation are doing the same thing. So much fun/terror. I will go through this 3 more times this week. I have a lot of empathy for the Monday Q crowd in the real world.

Will all QS events be two weeks once the season starts or will it be one week as before? And also, once you have joined the Beer League, are you able to try your hand at earning a card or are you stuck in Beer League?

And whew again. Played round 2 at Evangelist. Horrific +3 on the front but managed to post an even par on the back for a 3 over 73. Very satisfied. Nerves were getting to me. Now +21 through 6 rounds. Just hanging on for dear life and trying to keep it on the rails. What a ride.

There was a -18 in round 1? Frightening.

I’m sitting in position 2235 after five rounds on +36 and do you think it’s worth finishing Evangelist as I’m sure I’ll never even make CC-K? Yes. Feeling you got around 60 shots to play with. Battlers deserve a card and so they will. Cheers for that and yes I’m not a defeatist and will battle on and appreciate the encouragement 👍

As long as your 8 round total is under +100 - you should get a card. CC-L is where the just under +100 will be. You'll find that as you improve - starting in the lower tours will be a lot of fun as the competition will be very similar. Also - keep in mind that there will likely also be players in the second leg that don't finish the full 4 rounds - so as long as you're under the +100 mark, you should get a card. Oh ok I never realised CC-L would cover right through to the +100! Yes to be fair I’d be more than happy starting smack bottom as it’s my level at the moment and would relish the challenge of moving up and that’s what this game and site is all about. Cheers for the encouragement 👍

Thats only 7 shots off K and a bunch haven’t even played R5 yet. Can’t win the lottery if you don’t buy a ticket. Has there been a statement of what CC-L is yet, maybe its where everyone who doesn’t get into at least K will go? Could end up with 400 players in it rather than dumping players out the tour back in to weekly qualifying.....unless the bottom of L will end up back in qualifying after enough demotion strikes? Looking it like that yes it’s not far off K! Innit to win it you are right. It would be interesting how many will end up in L and I’m sure I read that +100 or better would get a card but then that would of been more than 1,000 in the Challenge circuit before it was decided to add more. Would be good to get some clarification. Cheers 👍

The 2 week Qualifier is just to balance the tours following release of a new game - same was the case back in Season 5 when 2019 first came out. The weekly Q school will be the course played on the Challenge Circuit and will just be the 4 rounds - 1 week.. If you're in Beer League - you can opt back out of it and enter a Q school - can't be in both at the same time..

CC-L is just what CC-G was prior to us adding more flights. There's been no change to the plan...just more tour cards added. Those that don't qualify for a card will still be in the qualifying pool. Sorry for ignorance but I was not sure how CC-G worked but how many people can be in CC-L?

You will be in good company believe me. Great to hear I’ll not be on the road alone 😂 Onwards and upwards though! Most of us have been there especially on Xbox at some point, if your at the bottom the only way is up. Look for MDH Rem on the Xbox leaderboards my scores won’t be much different to yours. What you will see as you play each event are people shooting unbelievable scores but they will in all probability be on a higher tour than you so their scores won’t be in your division. I don’t know how many rounds you have left but just play conservatively on the risky holes.

Ok I’ll keep an eye out 👍 Yes it’s not worth looking at what others are doing (even though all credit and respect for these top players) and to concentrate on your own game and remember things you did right and why. I’ve still got 3 more rounds to play at Evangelist but I think I’ll practise tonight a bit more first as I see improvement but it just comes and goes at the moment.

I wouldn't make the assumption that your Q position doesn't make a difference as long as you shoot better than +100 across all 8 rounds. All they've officially said is that a further 5 flights, and so 750 tour cards, have been added. Taking the original 1,450 tour cards available, that means 2,200 tour cards are now available. Now, drop-outs and bad scores from others may mean that +100 will be enough to make it into that top 2,200 - but no-one can say for certain at this stage (I'd expect far less drop outs - at least from anyone in contention for a tour card - this week compared to last week)

Any reason why my Week 2 scores are not coming through.
