If I turn it on or off the xp change is quite substancial and I have had it to off from start.
Would really appreciate it if someone gave me a brief explanation of what it actually does. I have read the info on settings screen but it confuses me in truth.

I might be wrong but I think distance control assist is when you move the marker closer and 80% then becomes your 100% and it wonโt let you go past 80%. Now Iโm writing this Iโm confusing myself lol so might let someone else answer that knows ๐

Yeah, that's it. You can still get up to 5% with overswinging but 80% will never become 100%.
Also, if you set intent at 80% and use the 96% overswing then you'll always get 2% less, so 78% in this case. Actually, how much less is dependent on the clubs/attributes you're using. In my case, a LW is always 2% less. So with that setting on, and a 96% overswing, you can always get any Exact % you're aiming for.

And I thought I read that "maths" were not a part of this version ... lol Shot Shaping is 10X stronger this version so "maths" is even better ^. Seriously, the old "loft box" is like someone using training wheels vs. the new "shot shaper" is like a finely tuned F1 beast.
