I would assume that nothing would change to be honest. If everyone is still logging into to PSN or xbl then I would think that the back end would remain the same since they aren't bringing out a new game for the new console

We don't have plans to support STadia on site at this time - our events are available in-game as they are mirrored from PC. Will reach out to Tim again to see what's involved in bringing in Stadia support - but a quick look at our API shows very few (usually none) stadia users playing - so until the numbers get bigger it'll be a tough sell to code in a new system.
Switch is also not supported - unfortunately they don't have unique gamertags (they go by first names) so it would be impossible for us to pull in scores accurately unless a unique field was included in the data - which it currently is not.
Can't say I'm suprise by that. The Xbox series S is really tempting. Maybe next year. Thank for the answer. Anybody looking to buy an Xbox to play this game needs to sign a disclaimer and certify as insane. Signed 99% of the Xbox TGCT Community

Just reading back properly through the OP:
1 - New countback in event of tiebreakers for all events - Excellent! 2 - New cut deadline - I prefer this. 3 - New round reveals for leaderboards - again, this is preferable to me. 4 - 75ft chipping rule - welcomed. The few times you did end up with an 90ft putt 3 ft up, it was a potential card killer, so this should eradicate some of those gripes.
All in all, I'm well set for mediocrity in the upcoming Q School and like the changes that have been made. It's going to be very interesting to see where we all end up.

Haven’t seen this anywhere, but is any action required by existing TGCT members to opt into Q school or declare our intentions for this season? There are mentions of registration opening and opting in, so just curious what’s required of a player before teeing off in the qualifying event. yes - you will have to log in and register for qualifying event or opt into ProAm. Links/info will be available Saturday and open the entire week - still some testing to do this week so we couldn't open it early. Will the registration for Q school event be like it used to be back in TGC 2 where you had to tick a box if you intended to play the event. That was before the days of auto registration

This is coming at a good time for me, shot my first under par round on these settings at the weekend! I've no idea where I might end up but I at least feel I'm going to end up SOMEWHERE now Is there any data regarding platform disparity from the test events? I think us Xboxers are expecting to have the short end of the stick again but wondering if the difference is at least a little bit closer than in the last game? It's not something that will stop me from playing anyway, the way I see it I'll end up in a tour with people shooting similar scores as me regardless of difficulty. It's going to be great not cursing every par, I like pars these days! Looking forward to a couple of weeks of Q-School, that one always gets the juices flowing.

Will we have more test or exhibition events running in parallel to the qualifying events?
