Got my first birdie on the 17th hole of my first round. Nailed a 28ft (+- 1ft) downhill putt with about a 5 inch right to left break, then dropped a 19ft (+- 1ft) putt on 18 for another birdie!! I had a case of the "ball squirts" when using my irons for most of the day though... I'll need to get TaylorMade to look into that.

**I paced off these putts and when I got home I measured one pace to be 21 inches... if you're wondering how I got my measurements.**

Also, I put a SuperStroke Legacy 3.0 grip on my putter a week ago and I highly recommend it!

sroel908: Green firmness is more about how the ball interacts with the putting surface when you hit an approach into it. A soft green is more receptive, and will allow more backspin than a firm one. A firm green will have less bite and more rollout. Nov 18, 2024 15:57:00 GMT -5
