So, to me the scores on this tour are ludicrous. I believe that something has to be done to lower the scores on this tour. Without getting crazy, i suggest getting rid of the scout cam on this tour. I think it would be worth a try, everyone is still in the same boat regardless of platform or resolution played.......Thoughts?  |

Karma, we have been wanting to change it, but we can't if the exploit still exist on the PC with the F12 key. HB is supposed to be fixing this. Also, we hope to be able to turn off the exact wind soon with the may update.

Tim - will it be "tiered" so that PGA and euro has both off, the webbers scout on and champs all aids on?
Wind meter and scout cam off together with wind control and averaging 10mph would maybe raise scores 10 shots over four rounds or so?

Yo, I would agree that limiting the aids is a much better approach than having to play almost all Pro tours with super firm fairways and ultra fast greens. I'm glad right now I don't play in the Pro tours as I am not a fan of having to bounce a ball onto the green half the time to make it stick, really dislike those ice rink greens. I would not mind these conditions every so often. Maybe even during one day out of a round when different pin sets are used. I have started playing outside of tours with my approach camera set to "greens" instead of "landing area" which you can change through the "Display" options. I still play my tours with all aids on. If you get rid of scout cam anyone with 2 accounts, eg 1 on xbox and 1 on pc will be at a massive advantage as they will be able to use scout cam simultaneously whilst playing their round. Just my opinion but turning the exact wind off is ludicrous. Didnt the vote go against turning aids off? Anyway its not my tour so the owners are completely entitled to do as they see fit. But i think they will lose members. Just my opinion. No offence to anyone.
I personally much prefer making scores less unrealistic by making the courses tougher. I enjoy the firm fast bison course this week, a local course I regularly play in real life has super firm greens where you have to land short of greens if its dry, even with wedges.

Scout cam is not going to do squat to the people who practice the course. Taking out scout cam alone won't do much. Add on the uncertainty about the wind and still have faster and firmer courses however and it's starting to be a test. Vader - have you tried playing with wind speed off? Very playable and more interesting than "dial an exact landing spot" in my opinion. |
