So I'm guessing there's no rain, fog etc? I've played a society event that had Rain on for the weather.. Not sure about Fog - but there are settings for it in the designer - so my guess is that it still could be used..

I've played precisely one round in the new game with rain (the default weather on that course was rain) - and it had terrible lag and totally ruined tempo (far more so than it used to in 19)
So no - you never ever want to play in rain in this game.......
(And I'm on a decent PC - which will be affected by lag far less than lower powered XBs etc)

Seems like all the new course designs are using perfect weather (sunny+cloudless). getting kind of boring, would love to see some variance with overcast, fog etc.. I did not have any problems in the rain with my tempo.

I played a tournament the other day that had rain in one or two of the rounds. Don't know if it affected tempo because I was pretty inconsistent anyway.

I'm on XB1 and I've never noticed any lag issues when playing with Rain. Maybe it's one thing that works OK on XB1! Or I'm just calmer because of the rainbow! I'd much prefer to have rain rather than crowds. Crowds always seem to cause issues.

I would be in favor of Rain if it actually had any effect on game-play or course conditions, which it does not. For me then it is just a distraction. The designer can put in fog (haze) in the default conditions, you see it most often on seaside links courses.

Ah that's annoying. I remember the old TW games would have softer fairways and slower greens when it rained. Could really throw off your timing of you weren't careful.
